Torsion fields are generated by spin and/or by angular momentum: any object or particle that spins produces torsion waves and possesses its own unique torsion field. According to some, torsion waves are the missing link in the search for a final ‘theory of everything,’ a unified field theory.

Torsion fields influence spin states and can influence the state or vibration of physical objects, such as a room, whose field can be changed by the influence of an external torsion field being placed near or within it. What this indicates is that the energy or vibration of certain torsion fields can be ‘recorded’ onto physical or biological objects such as The Matrix Connecter.

The inspirational Airwave is back with another top quality production in the world of true, proper trance. With a career spanning almost two decades Laurent is a highly respected figure within the "real" trance scene and more recently he has been partnering with another legend, John 00 Fleming, as they are on the lookout for the freshest talent around for their label LCD Recordings. This new 3 track release "The Wrath Of Tambora" is a testament to the vibrancy and integrity of someone who certainly knows his way around the studio. 
The title track intros subtle percussions and a thumping kick fading up to get us right into the flow. A tense pad rears up with some ethnic vocal samples and stringed instruments giving us an early taste of the tracks flavour. The bass takes us deeper into the track and some classy psy elements filter through. Soon we find ourselves lost in a world of trancey gated synths and on the break those ethnic vocals really shine, after a restrained build up we are taken right back to this absolute banging epic trance monster!
"Game Of Life" kicks off with a spoken vocal sample from a very familiar voice, this leads us into a super sweet piano melody which is no doubt performed live. A striking resemblance to an earlier classic Airwave tune comes through in this melody and this adds an air of anticipation which works so very well. Expertly arranged and balanced sounds combine together with tight drums and percussions with an acid line later in this track will have you listening again and again. This is one for the pure trance hearts out there and is destined for a lot of plays.
"The First Three Steps" continues the epic trance theme on this release. Straight forward kicks and hats on the intro that ebb and flow with superb percussions filling in the space which leads up to a kind of detuned piano riff. On the break we get a breath of fresh air with THE sweetest ever melody with infant sounds and huge strings tugging away at your emotions. Coming back into a solid and steady groove this is a tune that will allow you to let go and enjoy life to the fullest, inspiring stuff here.
