‘Live In Toronto’ is the sixth and latest installment of John Digweed’s legendary live mix – following ‘Live in Argentina’ (December 2013) and ‘Live in Miami’ (March 2014). With the release date set on 8th December 2014, ‘Live In Toronto’ is now available for pre-order, exclusively through the famed Bedrock Records.

Capturing the electric energy of John’s last ever gig at Toronto’s iconic The Guvernment Nightclub on October 11th, ‘Live in Toronto’ goes from strength to strength and includes 43 tracks of the best selection of underground house and techno talent around.

Featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, from German techno meister Sven Väth, Iranian house/techno DJ Dubfire, to US based DJ/producer Matthew Dear stage name Audion and many more, this nearly 5 hour compilation encompasses some of the finest tracks and remixes, meticulously hand selected by John Digweed himself.

Tyler Drift - Style

Piece performed by Dominique Ryser, Alana Hayes, Adam Schmidt, Jordan Fair, and conducted by Alex Jang at the "Glassclothwoodmetal & Other Materials" concert, on May 23rd 2015, Victoria BC.

This piece consists in a literal communion of three different musical ideas/compositional techniques, taken from school colleagues, renowned composers and from older works of mine.

Richard Feynman

Thor ‘Fractal’ Kell plays music that sounds like William Gibson novels, late nights in Detroit, and endless Sunday afternoons in Berlin.

His production draws a slightly wider net than that, adding Bristol lushness, Kyoto bleeps, and a patient, quintisentially Canadian sense for form and shape. Past hits include the chart-topping Up on Kompakt, an EP on Primal, and releases on Perc Trax, Gemini, Fade, and his own Tide Pool label.

Other highlights include The World Outside, a DVD album / remix retrospective / two-movement symphony; ITERATE, a live / improv project with local beat legend Patience Automate; and, finally, three string quartets, two pieces for full orchestra, and a suite of miniatures for solo piano. As one does.
