Welcome back to our Friday Safra sound podcast series.  In this episode, we have a talented Dj @jorge-vujosevich (Vujo) who has had a passion for music since he was a boy. Based out of Mexico City, he had the opportunity of experiencing the boom of the rave scene there in the early 2000s. As the owner of the record store “55 Records,” he established himself as a Dj in the underground scene, playing in the renowned “Pervert Lounge” back then.

This time with… Mitsuru! although he doesn’t need presentation, from the beginning he has been a great reference for me in Mixcloud for his good taste in the selection of the music, and his great talent, with great elegance in the mixes, specially in afro house and house music, converting his sessions on a real ride bordering on perfection, what do I say? simply in the perfection. So is a pleasure for me after seven years that I listen him, to can share with him and with all of you, this beautiful afro house session. I want to take the opportunity to apologize for repeating a track of his selection. Sorry!! I did´t realize until the end, the positive is that it is a great track, so has been selected :) Nevertheless, I hope you like, and you can have a beautiful and cool musical moment. Mitsuru Started DJing at Crete 64 in Sapporo from 1987. He retired at the age of 26, but resumed DJing on mixcloud in 2016.

This week we welcome U.K. based SRS to the show to take care of episode #54

Bio:

Music has always been a real passion! From an early age, listening to the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Genesis, and Pink Floyd helped to drive his love for music ever forward.
He started off perfecting the art of mixing and blending tracks using vinyl and has been doing so on and off since the late eighties.
Early Electro and the explosion of the acid house scene, lead him into the realms of the UK rave culture from 1988 – 1993 where he went to some of the biggest outdoor raves in the UK, hosted by the top promoters of the time, Sunrise, Biology and Fantazia. London’s newly opened orbital motorway M25 pathed the way for the acid house raves.
A regular at the Astoria Night Club, in London where Nicky Holloway ran a club night called ‘The Trip.’ The Astoria hosted DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Carl Cox, Fabio & Grooverider and DJ Hype.
Although having a varied taste in music, his real love is anything electronic. Deep House, Organic House & Melodic vibes are his forte.
SRS has been producing his own tracks now for about 3 years and is currently working on a project under the pseudonym Lakota Rayn, producing tracks in the Deep House and Organic House genres.
He would describe his mixes as deep and diverse...which take you on an emotional journey.
