Paul's music has a deep and melodic, but still progressive feel to it. He certainly knows how to incorporate infectious melodies and other interesting aspects into his tracks. He has experience DJing in some of Glasgow's biggest clubs and has also featured on some of the local radio stations, showcasing his music. With releases on the likes of Deep House Natural, Nicksher Music and Superordinate Music, he has never been more determined to show the world his new style of progressive house.

Hello and welcome once again to Depth Perception Sessions, home of the best in underground electronic music.

This week we welcome the excellent Paul Sawyer to take care of business.

Bio:

With a string of releases to his name, Paul Sawyer is no stranger to the music world and has a back catalogue that consists of originals, and remixes on Pure Progressive, Black Hole Recordings, Armada, Perfecto, Toolroom, Steyoyoke, Dear Deer, OKO Recordings, Balkan Connection, Nueva, Mango Alley, ICONYC Music and his own Krafted Underground imprint.

Having toured the World for several years, Paul has played at many key events including Ministry of Sound, Egg London, Cream, Renaissance, Bestival, Bedrock, Airpusher (LA), B’estfest and was cited by Mixmag as ‘a DJ to look out for’, as well as one of the UK’s top residents by DJ Magazine.

His monthly show ‘Textures’ has been broadcast for over 2.5 years to date and he has a long list of guest appearances on shows including Mark Knight’s Toolroom Radio, Judge Jules Global Warm Up, Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Music Show, Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto Radio and Solarstone’s Pure Trance Radio. Textures is available to hear via iTunes, DI.FM, Proton Radio and Soundcloud.
New for 2021, Paul's Krafted label host a monthly show on BBC Radio 1 as part of Radio 1 Presents Wind Down. Shows can be found on BBC Sounds.

Biography:
Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy.
Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream.

This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind.

2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream.
Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force.

Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno.
