Craftal and I have been planning to work together since he heard my crazy blips and bloops and I heard his wicked wompage. Last week, we made it a reality and put together this ridonkulous adventure of a track for the Neurohop Forum's Weekly Track showcase. 

This is probably not the last of our collabs but it is currently the best one because it is indeed the first and only one.

today we bring you our newest track, "Wise Words" by COPYCATT. this is the 8th track release for our compilation album, "Feel Trip, Vol. 1".
this track is definitely a special one, with beautifully chill chords and a deep vintage essence. the song starts out very mellow, then slowly brings in bits of neuro, vibin' hard until the second drop comes, bringing the real heavier neuro sides of COPYCATT's sound. this is certainly the heaviest song on the compilation, but it still fits right in :)

be sure to keep an eye on our soundcloud, we'll be releasing 3 songs a week (Mon, Wed and Fri) for this album and there is 20 songs total.

Resonant Language - Pitter Splatter - Truck Records. In June of 2015, Denver's Whomp Truck crew threw their very first festival, Absurdia, only to have it shut down by the county just one day in. In order to help them recoup some of the huge cost they incurred, we present to you ten amazing tunes from some of our favorite artists from Colorado and beyond!

Compiled by Omega, this ten track EP features all avenues of heavy bass music. From whompy midtempo, to grimy dubstep, to bangin’ breakbeats. There’s something for every basshead in this compilation, and the proceeds go to a great cause!

🌗halloweeen mix

This mix is by far my favourite I have recorded for a long time. Being on the beautiful nest stage on Saturday night at Future Forest was insanely dreamy. I poured my heart and soul into this mix, at the time I broke my ankle a couple weeks before and had lot's of time to perfect this mix to what sounds good in my mind, I also performed with a broken ankle. I find this mix to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions from the lightest loving melodies to the darkest bass lines. It starts out with someone falling in love and just having the best time of their lives and grooving with the jazzy bit's then it falls out into the darkness and get's gross and awkward for a bit then falls right back into the love of finding yourself being happy with who you are in the cosmos. I really like getting groovy, heavy, weird, and different in this one. I hope your body and ears enjoy this hour and a half of me at the nest just giving it everything I got :)

I had a great time going full alien mode at the Cottage the other night for my bass brothers bday. This mix is full of some unreleased stuff from myself and ton's of lowend bass frequencies. Pairing this Kollektiv's morning set with last fall's afternoon set had me thinking about loops. Loops in nature, in society, in sound, habits, relationships. Loops as compact infinities. Loops in loops in loops. We always end up going down the same roads. Every time a little different.

This is my live recording from Kollektiv XIV that just happened last weekend. I shaved off most of my beard at the start of this set and that gave me a huge energy boost.
