This year was truly a high point for me, words can't describe the feeling so all I can do is send all my love and gratitude to each and every one of you. This was my favorite sunrise set ever, hands down.  It was my first Fusion, definitely not the last. One of the most inclusive, affordable, sustainable and badass events I had a chance to see. The level of creativity, the quality of sound systems, the absence of authority or security, yet the feeling of safety and community. An impressive and powerful sonic city that shows us how the world can be when we work for a greater purpose, together, with strong values. 

This set represents a lot for me, after quite an heart opening trip in Beirut, Lebanon right before Fusion, getting closer to the war opened my eyes to the energies, challenges and times we are living in, while being fuelled and inspired by the beautiful resilience of people. ❤️

The dancefloor as a revolution. Music as a way to heal. The community as a foundation to rebuild the world from the heart space. 🌍   Gratitude to the Sonnendeck crew for the invitation, to everyone who came to dance for the morning session, and big love to old and new friends who made this journey memorable.

Here is the recording of the liveset I played at cosy festival last Sunday! I am so happy I decided to hit record on this occasion, which I rarely do with live sets, but I had the feeling, like this one could be special and it was! It was such a huge joy to close this stage for the festival with the cutest crowd ever. I just felt a calm and warm joy with everyone happily wobbling to the downtempo flow, like everyone is taking deep happy breaths. It was exactly that deeply heartfelt energy I am missing on dance floors these days so often. So I am mega happy to have captured it and am able to share this with you guys. Its some old tunes, some new tunes, I hope you like it never the less <3

Zen Baboon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the '70s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction.

Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s.  Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, (DJ Henriq) and producer in 2001.

They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.
