"Nepomuk & Thias Raun are two pretty good Buddies from the beautiful city of Halle in eastern Germany. Both, like pretty much all DJs, developed their musical sensitivity in their youth in small clubs in their home towns and gradually refined it further at festivals and larger clubs.

Apart from his permanent presence at pretty much every party in Halle and the surrounding area, Nepomuk also inspires at festivals such as Zurück zu den Wurzeln and Tarmac.

Thias Raun has been concentrating on producing besides djing lately.Releases on Tonal and soon on Herz&Leber, Kollektiv.Liebe, Easy Tiger and Talpa Records complete this focus. "

Sleep is holy – yet we don’t always cherish the beauty of the dream world. We escape rest to run in circles, chasing goals that seem more attractive than the fragile calmness of deep sleep. In this over saturated world, we may reach a point of no return and find ourselves at the edge of sanity. We could take an honest look at ourself and step back from this sporting life. But we’re holding on to the promises of the 24/7 mentality, yet constantly looking for alternative ways to survive the pace of a modern world.
 
Somniferum is perpetually offering options for moments of relaxation. You might want to turn down the lights with one of the most powerful mantras known to mankind. Its temptation constantly calls for the long distance runner and it is hard to beat its patience. One day you might wake up and realise that it’s too late - the holy mountain has moved and won't easily get back into place.

Ouïe Circle is Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan’s sublabel that provides a platform for the wider circle of friends and artists associated with Ouïe.

With the seventh release, we are treated to five exquisite tracks from a combination of Geju and Acid Pauli himself. 
Lead track Bird Box is a delight - a fidgety, elastic groove sets the tone, while esoteric sounds and textures punctuate the track to create its own little audio biosphere.

The original spans eight and half minutes, and feels almost too short. 
Also included are two remixes, both with their own individual takes on the track. Iorie’s remix straightens up the groove somewhat, becoming a serious midtempo chugger with beautifully realized arpeggiated synths and a bubbling, magical atmosphere. 
Ed Ed (who also appeared previously on Ouïe Circle 03) goes for more of a tropical workout - shuffling drums underpin a thick bass and lush, dreamy pads.

Elsewhere on this release, Geju offers up two new tracks. Monko is a low slung slo mo groove, that mixes infectious percussion with pulsing synth tones and ethereal leads. Anosino also mixes the worlds of sampled nature sounds with heavy kicks and a slinky, unpredictable arrangement - traversing the worlds of electronic and chill out music.
