A self-taught composer, who has found his voice in older and traditional forms and styles of music.
Currently mostly composing for piano, but I have grand ambitions for writing chamber music and symphonies.
My music has a lot of variety in a way that expresses all kinds of sentiments, both intrapersonal and extrapersonal, kept in a cohesion by an underlying narrative; every composition is its own journey or a adventure, and I invite any guests who stumble upon my page to take part in it.

This is the principal soundcloud channel for original one-man music by gd&themultitracks.  Mainly instrumental, the music was home-recorded in stroud, england using hardware synths & instruments and Audacity community software for editing and mixing the individual multitracks.  I've had great enjoyment in making (& listening to!) the music, but any plays or feedback would be much appreciated.

I don’t want to describe music. You have to listen to music and find your own description.

You have to emphasise it these days: this is not AI created music. I wrote all the tracks and played every single note. I‘m not against AI. It can help you in your creative process when you stuck. Or it can be an inspiration. Or it can make your music better. So I would try it too. But in the end it should be the music coming from my heart and mind.

Why ask why? No delusion has been prescribed to me which I cannot pour into a cup we all share then someone complains of bitterness yet we're all full. To think of sweetness I must look to the cup which may as well be my body since as I partake of anything I am yet in my fullness but the void of absence is an easy target for those who miss some kiss on their lips welI why not dismiss, exist? I expect nothing but to keep on in my rhythm, a singular song that takes many forms.

We create music from plants, trees, shrubs, and living organisms!
Bio-data sonification aims to turning into music the micro-currents, which are measured across the leaves of the plants or across the non-human organisms. The project was born in May 2021 using a modified version of the open-source circuit Midi Sprout. The name Ygg is the root of Yggdrasil, which is the world tree in Norse mythology. Imagining the roots as electrical wires, in digital era Ygg is a hybrid machine-plant entity that speaks through a Synth instrument.
