10 years on from the conception of Outtallectuals in the form of a Facebook community, we're delighted to still be here, finetuning the label's signature sound in a never-ending global creative soup.

Accordingly, 'Liminal Lore' celebrates OUTTA's first decade through a predictably collaborative roster, featuring the label regulars, as well as new contributors such as Bulgarian legends, Ivan Shopov and Theodossii Spassov, cinematic bass producer, Boketto, the deep ambient psychedelic dub techno duo of Arkaean and Unsung I, and POAN, Lo.Renzo's ambient side project with Giacomo Barbari.

The concept of 'Lore' is sonified through the 'old world' influences of the album; through the sounds of nature, bulbul tarang, banjo, g clarinet, darbuka, hang drum, sarangi, slide guitars, violins, flutes & tribal percussions. 'Liminality' is, of course, through the celebration of a shifting decade, an in-between milestone for the label.

Sorrowmurk is a veteran Russian psytrance producer and beloved sound pirate hailing from Moscow, that weird, cold metropolis on the far edge of Europe. After a few years reframing his music concept and production approach the ex-Dissociactive project member brings us eight previously unreleased night-time epics dedicated to busy Moscow city life and its crazy, mystic trance community. Identity Disorder reflects, in an ironic way, the psychic metamorphosis of a rat race character trapped in this burgeoning metropolis. With a full-power crunchy sound, this album is wrapped in darkness, but also retains a good sense of humour at its core. With knowledge of secret substances and body mechanics this album serves as the best medicine against concrete jungle fever and offers a gateway to the heady warmth of beach party season. Special cover art with famous Moscow landmarks is hand-painted expressly for this project by one of the first Russian psychedelic artists, Konstantin LordJaad. Mastered by Mario Darkshire. Gaia is the personification of the Earth and one of the Greek primordial deities. Gaia is the ancestral mother of all life: the primal Mother Earth goddess. 

The track is based on (and came from) a melody played on stones collected by the river blended with acoustic guitar, sarangi and electronic to achieve a deep organic sound.  Enjoy and support!
