The anniversary compilation is showcasting the unique experience which was collected through the 20 years long journey of Insomnia Records. DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation. 

Important to mention that the compilation is not about the oldschool sound, all of the tracks here are brand new cutting edge products for the night time dancefloor to fill it with a special psychedelic energy. 

We highly appreciate all the effort done by the artists, designers, mastering engineers and other participating persons and would like to say a big THANK YOU to all ever invloved. More 20 years in space to come!

Sorrowmurk is a veteran Russian psytrance producer and beloved sound pirate hailing from Moscow, that weird, cold metropolis on the far edge of Europe. After a few years reframing his music concept and production approach the ex-Dissociactive project member brings us eight previously unreleased night-time epics dedicated to busy Moscow city life and its crazy, mystic trance community. Identity Disorder reflects, in an ironic way, the psychic metamorphosis of a rat race character trapped in this burgeoning metropolis. With a full-power crunchy sound, this album is wrapped in darkness, but also retains a good sense of humour at its core. With knowledge of secret substances and body mechanics this album serves as the best medicine against concrete jungle fever and offers a gateway to the heady warmth of beach party season. Special cover art with famous Moscow landmarks is hand-painted expressly for this project by one of the first Russian psychedelic artists, Konstantin LordJaad. Mastered by Mario Darkshire. To the fifth anniversary of Damaru Records we’re happy to announce our 6th sampler and our 12th release. 
The past five years we had so many talented artists on our label. Thanks a lot to everybody for your brilliant music.
All our artwork artists did an amazing job. You know who you are! 
This VA combines all the musical influences that we had during the years. The range of style goes from psychedelic  to darkpsy to - of course - high tech.
The artwork has done by Mark Whelan. His paintings are always carried by the psychedelic culture and are very unique. The typographic was made by our old friend and supporter Simon Bach aka 13thKind. Thank you brothers!
The mastering has done by Lars Peter aka Antagon. Thanks Lars for your high quality work!

Abstract Construct is the 5th release and 4th compilation from Damaru Records.
It’s compiled by DJ Lloyd Positivist from Wales.
The music takes you on a journey that is reflective of the spectrum that is night time psychedelia today and contains contributions from the very talented members of the Damaru family and some very special guests who are at the forefront of today's very diverse and cutting edge night time psychedelic scene.

The journey starts off in the forest and atmospheric environments and via a smooth transition, gradually increases tempo and power to the full power night time dancefloor, and finally finishing off with some grinding hi tech, brain disassembly and a hint of humour.

We hope you enjoy the experience that "Abstract Construct" has to offer. We really enjoyed putting it together and we hope that you love it as much as we do.

In this project we have beats and sounds from many different live acts: Space Alchemist, Interior Light, Mentalis Zavar, MuNi, Gahara, Metatron, Cyk, Aquarius Orb, Ycaxe, Fractaly Noise, Mad Goblins and Scalaphobetic.

The result of this mixing of brains is a track like no other before. A journey through different soundscapes that morph and join themselves to become one powerful art piece.
