This minimix series features teaser mixes from dj's & producers who are playing music at Fractalfest 2023. These mixes will be in the same style of music that each artist will be presenting at the festival. In Episode 25, we present none other than Rob Fractaltribe, owner of Fractaltribe/Fractalfest. As one of the main musical directors, the deep attention to sound across the spectrum is greatly shaped by his extremely refined tastes in sound. For this set on the Dystopia Stage, Rob will bring his trademark hypnotic techno to the decks and pull some tracks from deep in his arsenal to share a fun yet mentally stimulating dancefloor experience.

Sisca was first introduced to electronic music through the vibrant world of music festivals. With a background in piano, music has always been a central part of her life, shaping her deep connection to melody and rhythm. She began her DJ journey exploring ambient sounds, which gradually evolved into a love for techno and psychedelic beats. Over the past few years, she has played at festivals across Ontario and Quebec, curating sets that blend emotion and energy — taking you on a musical journey.

Since I was a kid back in the former Soviet Union, I was fascinated with the sound, from animal noises to bus, plane and train noises to the Euro disco music finding its way around the Iron curtain. However, only right around the pandemic, in my 40s, I decided  to share my love of music with others and watch them dance or enjoy themselves while relaxing. At the same time, I love to explore the cutting edges of musical expression to see what is possible to do with the sound. As a result, my musical taste is constantly evolving and could be considered eclectic, from techno to house to folktronica and jazz to name a few.
