Echoes of invisible phantoms and the suitable fluidity - the idea of being trapped in one form, outmatched by circumstances. Bordering on angles that are rarely disturbed -  that it is permeable. Drastic transmogrify, vigor of reflexes, unafraid of being deceived by the appearances of what exudes around.   

'Transmogrify' is a newfound approach of Anasisana. Putting ecstatic volubility into new patterns - ingrown and intense ties, tempting to pond over and bridge the shreds.

Miaux presents new LP ‘NEVER COMING BACK’ on VIERNULVIER Records.
The Belgian composer’s upcoming LP is inspired by the new film score she wrote for 60's cult film ‘CARNIVAL OF SOULS’.
Antwerp-based composer and synth virtuoso Miaux presents her new album, 'Never Coming Back’ on VIERNULVIER Records. The record is rooted in the recent film score she composed for the surreal and haunted cult movie 'Carnival of Souls' (1962).
Directed by American filmmaker Herk Harvey, this enigmatic ghost film influenced contemporary directors like David Lynch, George A. Romero, and Lucrecia Martel.
Miaux meticulously crafted the score in her home studio, relying solely on her two hands and a single synthesizer during the spring and summer of 2022. The inaugural performance of this renewed score with film, unfolded at Videodroom / Film Fest Gent 2022 in Ghent, Belgium. The compositions were subsequently unraveled, rewritten into full-fledged songs, and assembled into a new record entitled 'Never coming back ’, bearing Miaux’s unmistakable signature. The album is scheduled for release on May 3 and will be available on vinyl LP and all digital platforms.
Miaux will perform the album live at Roadburn Festival (NL), offering a pure interpretation of the new songs. Additionally, there are shows planned at STUK (Leuven) and Palmarium (Ghent), where she will perform the film score alongside the film.

Rojin Sharafi is a sound artist and composer of acoustic, electro-acoustic and electronic music based in Vienna. She has been working on different multimedia art projects and has been collaborated with different musicians, Ensembles, filmmakers, video-artists and performers. Her music passes the borders of genre, while borrowing some elements from different epoch and classes such as Noise, Folk, Ambient, Metal and contemporary music. Fusion texture, narrative layers and formalistic approaches are her musical trademarks.

Her creation process and pre-production include: studies on concept, searching and collecting sound material, improvising with instruments in a group or in solo, working on the texture, experimenting with form and sketching the structural process, recording in studio and realizing the final production.

She was born in 1995 in Tehran. She is currently studying sound engineering and composition at university of music and preforming art Vienna.
