Happy New Year! Nach einer Weile meldet sich Fragment8 zurück mit einem Podcast der Extraklasse. Alle 2 Wochen dürft ihr euch über ein neues Set freuen. Fragment8 Künstler und Künstlerinnen und befreundete Artisten werden euch in den nächsten Monaten feinste elektronische Musik aus aller Welt präsentieren.  Der Anfang ist zugleich eine Premiere. This is a mix Karen and Kai played together back to back as KAIREN at Origin Emergence Festival on a beautiful farm in Helderstroom in South Africa on Friday 28th of January 2022. We played on the main floor from 8pm for 1,5 hrs into the night. We were asked by the organizer, @regan_nano, to morph the music from a Techno act before, to Progressive Psytrance. So we picked some slightly older, but very powerful tracks and lifted the speed from 124 to 140 bpm. As we got such beautiful emotional feedback at the party and so many questions about the tracks, we put the track list here as well.

In August 2021, Sahra Bass was a guest at St. Konfusius Festival, which is hosted in the fabulous location of a monastery in Rheingau. On this day she enchanted the dance floor with her wonderful 2 hour set, which we are very happy to publish on our website today. Sahra Bass is a DJ and part of the producer duo https://soundcloud.com/bassaramusic from Berlin. Their electronic stories invite you to expeditions into dark, warm depths and pearly, glittering heights. Their choice of music moves between melodic-harmonic and bouncy sound spheres, but always full of emotions and driven by the low-frequency, gloomy bass waves, which can get dirty at times. They cover all areas - from downtempo and (dark/progressive) slow rave to deep/melodic and progressive house.
