"While making this song I noticed it sounded a bit like a car that cranks, when I searched that exact term, I found Scotty Kilmer on YouTube and just loved the way he talks. I wanted to use his cranking car sound, but ended up using his voice for the song as well. We sent him a message to ask for permission and he replied "Go right ahead and use it, I find it funny as hell". It's a serious song with a funny gimmick to it."

A reputable name on the underground circuit in his home city, the talented selector is well known for his ability mixing between genres as well as for one or two tricks on 3 decks. The past couple of years has seen Sonice support the likes of Carista, LSDXOXO, DJ Plead, Bruce and Zed Bias and the Strange Riddims crew supply airwaves worldswide with all things experimental in their monthly NTS Manchester show.
