We are happy to welcome so many great remixers to the label. with his original "alma rej" and three unique remixes in different color palettes, the different facets of the sounds come into their own. Up next on Sublease Music is the production pair Leeni and Danilo Kupfernagel, who recently reworked Steve Bug & Clé’s Hallucinous.  

This time out the Berlin-based pair drop a three track EP called Interminable - with two versions of the lead track and an additional third, Cerca. 

The main mix of Interminable is a deep bomb, a chugging rhythm track punctuated by stabs and bubbling arpeggiated synth line - it’s a slick and rolling track designed for maximum impact. 





The Gorge remix dials in on the low end, teasing out a bassline that drives the rest of the track. 

Cerca closes out the EP, a tougher deep house cut with a driving groove.

Interminable

We love Curtis' original take on "Rich Girl". It has the same bass-fuelled minimal energy that we get from Paige Tomlinson's "Rocked It" and James View's "Party Time". That said, we wanted a version that we could play on big Ibizan stages or in the main room of our favourite London clubs, so we asked Kevin McKay to put on his "Work" hat (see what we did there?) and give us the kind of floor-smashing roller that would do the job. Never one to disappoint, he's delivered the brief to a tee. A chunky kick and cajon rhythm lead the way before a deep sub delivers some pumping groove for Tasty Lopez' killer delivery—a wee belter.

Lola Palmer steps in with a powerful remix, injecting momentum and tension while retaining the track’s immersive core – an interpretation made for peak-time floors.

Flip the record, and Leeni & Danilo Kupfernagel take things inward, reworking the original into a more melancholic and melodic version. Their take remains grounded in the groove, but shifts the energy into a more emotional, late-night territory.

Pressed on wax with care, FRAWAX001 stands as a statement of intent – warm, reduced, and dub-infused – just how we like it.
