O’Fella is a UK-based techno artist. His sound is centred in minimalism, hypnosis and melancholic moods. He often focuses on the build and release of tension in his productions, with a signature sci-fi sound.

O’Fella runs his own imprint, ‘OFREC’, which is home to his musical output alongside collaborations with like-minded artists in the scene.

FWP 088 | Deepak Sharma

Deepak Sharma is a New York based DJ, producer, and label curator of Hidden Recordings. With over 10 years experience in  the field, he has played at locations around the globe including the esteemed LAUT club in Barcelona, Tresor Berlin, Basement New York, a Mixmag Lab New York set, Columbia and other areas of South America, and most recently playing several shows in Vietnam. 

His productions have been remixed by the likes of Psyk, NX1, Tadeo and Inigo Kennedy and have consistently gained support from some of the industry's best, such as DVS1, Amotik and Rene Wise.

Manchester based artist, Charley Bolton, provides the 89th instalment in the FWP mix series  with an hour long exploration of up-tempo sounds and pumping psychedelic basslines.

Having relocated to the city due to its ever increasing popularity and network for hard dance and fast techno, Charley has been able to develop a foundation which has enabled her to shape and refine herself both as an artist and an individual. 

Expect a journey through ethereal soundscapes, dream-like chords, and fast paced rhythms which explores the frontiers of all things trance, psy and techno.

Northern based vinyl enthusiast, Esmé, provides the 90th instalment of the FWP series with an hour long exploration into the depths of all things break-beat, electro, techno and breaks.

Esmé has earned herself a significant following within the underground community over the past few years, bringing her electro and breaks infused sets to parties across the North.

A keen vinyl enthusiast; she regularly showcases her sound, spanning across the many facets of break-beat, electro, techno and breaks, on her NARR Radio residency. She is also co-founder of the grassroots queer festival, Iconoclast, in the Calder Valley where she is based.

You can catch her this month at HE.SHE.THEY in Sheffield and also supporting Jerome Hill in Leeds next month.

FWP 091 | Roeg

Hailing from North Wales and now based in London, Lewis Wright (Roeg) is the co-founder of highly successful London based collective, Kwassa Files. Their nights have hosted stalwarts of the scene such as Shifted and Steve Bicknell, whilst their podcast series has welcomed the likes of Skudge, Sev Dah and Egotot amongst others.

With roots in house music, Roeg withholds a broad taste spanning across many different facets of the electronic music spectrum, allowing his taste to draw influence from a range of different sounds. Predominantly focussing on techno, however, he is a talented and versatile selector, whether this be delving into the deeper dubbier sounds of techno to warm a room up, or taking the crowd on a peak time exploration of hypnotic bleeps and pumping basslines with the occasional curveball of jacking house or breakbeat. 

Having cut his teeth through playing extended sets at his previous party, Origin, he has gone on to play renowned venues across the UK such as Club 69, The DBA and Venue MOT.

Vendex is a dj and producer born in Barcelona. He began to mix at the age of 14 to 15 years and began to produce in 2016 various genres and subgenres of electronic music. He is now focused on techno, specifically in the Dark, Industrial, Acid and Hard Techno.
Today he has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness. 
Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to history, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural , reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld.
