He’s been into music forever but only when he turned 17 and ended up at a legendary Tresor party at Eskulap club he fell in love with electronic music. Soon afterwards, he heard tracks by the supergroup Bad Company and this is how his still ongoing romance with techno and dnb started. He can’t decide which genre he wants to play so he does both in two different crews, Technokracja and DrumObsession, with whom he’s organized dozens of parties in clubs such as Projekt LAB, Schron and Dom Technika. He has fulfilled a huge part of his musical dreams and played next to artists who are the most inspiring to him. He’s played in many Polish clubs. In the past, he was involved in Cafe Miesna club in Poznan.
In his sets he hates boredom, routine and repetitive schemes, that’s why he always blends styles, ruffles and breaks things up. He tries to cross sections and mix quickly. Like he says, it doesn’t have to be easy and pleasant all the time or hard and heavy - it has to be interesting and surprising!

As a teenager, he discovered electronic music through underground parties, nurturing a passion for techno that has only grown over the years. Inspired by the dirty rawness of old school techno and the hypnotic vibes of more contemporary tracks, Nicolas Vogler decided to pursue his newfound passion by DJing at small events in his hometown.

Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own personal label NCLS as well as through recent releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Syxt Berlin, Drawner records and the Spanish label Hemisferio. Played by techno DJs worldwide, Nicolas’ tracks can be found in mixes by notable artists such as Setaoc Mass, Arkan, Insolate, Temudo, and many others.

Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, HueHelix) was born in Osaka, and
then first contacted with Electronic Music in the early 90s.

In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno,
House and Electro Music.

As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually
learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels
as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, SWR, Innervate, I.CNTRL, Impact
Mechanics, Silent Steps, GSR, Brood Audio, to name but a few.

In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as
a platform for new generation of electronic sound which following words can
appropriately describe: driving,hypnotic, atmospheric, emotional, groovy,
funky... and any other aspects that rock from brain to the dance floor under
the following statement:

From local to global...

It exists in order to inspire the world...

Also, Ryuji kicked off another brand new label called 'HueHelix / HHX' as a
new platform, which discloses something new,only represented by HueHelix,
together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to
push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.

In 2012, Ryuji launched 'Local Sound Network Digital Solutions / LSNDS'
series in need of discovering and introducing wider range of electronic
music, aiming at dropping unique audio output while itfs hot. Music style
varies. All top quality output from new and established producers all over
the world with its bottom line as follows:

Bear'lin Station Podcast 035 | Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / Hue Helix)

The 54th instalment in our FWP series arrives from Dublin based DJ and Producer, Mode_1. He has held residencies at Subject Dublin, District 8, Index and featured regularly at festivals such as Life Festival, Electric Picnic and Boxed Off. 

Having been resident at Subject for the past 6 years has seen him share the booth with some of the best in the industry, playing alongside the likes of  Ben Klock, Robert Hood, Dave Clarke and DVS1, even appearing on Ben Klocks infamous Photon event in Dublin.

At the start of 2018 he had one his tracks “OÍche” featured on Berghain resident Fiedel’s Double Mixpack EP named Appendix, which also had tracks  featured from Jay Clarke, Ron Albrecht, Noncompliant and Philippe Petit. 

In January 2019 he contributed his track “Twenty7”, alongside producers Tinfoil, Hybrasil and Moduse to commemorate the closure of the infamous District 8. 
March of that year saw the release of his debut E.P “Final Approach” on French label Knotweed. Later in the year his track “Return” featured on Fiedel’s new label Super Sound Tools. 

2020 has seen Mode_1 back on Knotweed with his EP “Mainframe”  and on Fiedel’s label FiedelTwo with ‘4x4 Series Pt1’ EP.  In May he was featured on Truncate’s ‘Missing’ remix compilation, which gained support from Rodhad, Slam and DVS1

July saw him release on esteemed label, Naked Lunch Records with his Pusher EP as well as his feature on the legendary Slam Radio.
