If you were to blend venomous guitar riffs with some old school drum beats, throw in some deep funky bass and a powerhouse voice, complete with a slight Glasgow twang, the resulting aftermath would produce The Sneaky Russians. The Coatbridge kings of rock n roll are a self-made five piece group consisting of like minded individuals, all of whom have one aim which is deliver great music to the people. As the loyal Sneaky Army grow in numbers, the bands confident talent shines brighter with every passing day. With gallons more gas left in the Sneaky Russians fuel injected music engine, the band continue to make their presence known, destined for big things they are taking the sneaky way to the top!

Bass player in Paddy McAloon of Prefab Sprouts first real band 'AVALON' (er.... that is his first band to have a drummer AND a P.A.) although when he joined we were called 'CAUGHT IN THE ACT' so its not really true that 'AVALON' was his first anything!! Gawd! Aint life complicated? This name change occured after a handful of gigs. 'CAUGHT IN THE ACT' were Tony Coyle, John the drummer, Leo McCabe, Paddy, and me. All made contributions of a greater/lesser extent to songwriting. 10 months together and then Tony, Paddy and Leo were all gone and new talents came in. Pete Archbold and Paul Dean made us a twin lead guitar band for a time and Steve Daggett replaced PMc as lead singer, songwriter. He played a mean flying 'V' guitar. This Avalon Mk 2 lasted a year. Then I went back to collecting stamps and saving empty milk cartons. (anyone got a spare 1856 British Guiana One-Cent Magenta I could have? ps if u want to collect milk cartons make sure u wash em thoroughly before cluttering the place up with em)

The Clown Jewels were formed in August 2019 after a chance meeting between Warren Dancey and Jason Walsh at a local gig in Warminster. They both found they had a mutual interest in combining punk with electronic music and decided to work together on something special. Mark Gardner was soon enlisted as a cohort and a studio session was booked at Warren's studio. Jason's vocals were tracked for 4 very different tunes exploring breaks, reggae and dnb. 
After some lengthy production session the tunes were ready to test with a quick home master (before sending to be professionally mastered of course!)
Its early days for the Clown Jewels but as all members have experience of production and live performance you can be rest assure that 2020 will be BIG
