I decided to represent multilingual "Italo" sounds from every continent (er, except that I forgot Australia), and the cultural differences between interpretations of this sound, and moreover how this intersects with globalism, colonialism, and racism. Is that too high-level as a theme? Probably! Summarized best through inclusions of Condry Ziqubu, Canada's own Martha and the Muffins, Esse Agesse, and Johnny Clegg (the latter is questionable and it's on the scratchiest vinyl, so forgive me).

Ganymed was an Austrian/German space disco band founded in 1977. In 1978, they released their biggest hit, “It Takes Me Higher”, which hit #5 on the Austrian charts for four weeks and also hit #23 on the German charts. This re-edit has been downtempoed, lengthened to a DJ friendly length, been through the mastering mill, has had the rough edges taken of it, eq'd, and had a little boost in the bass areas.

Rhode & Brown are a Munich based DJ and producer duo consisting of Friedrich Trede & Stephan Michael Braun. Their sound encapsulates 80's dance floor euphoria fused with post modern house sounds and flawless production.

Thanks to his long career, he's also collaborated with some of the most well-known international record labels like Midnight Riot, Rare Wiri, NDYD, Spirit Soul Records, Love Harder Records, or Hot Digits. Besides, he's also collaborated with some of the top blogs like 'Music is 4 Lovers', 'Gouranga,' 'Le Visiteur,' 'Deep House Moscow,' 'Red Bull,' 'The London Disco Society' and even radios like 'Vibes Radio,' 'The Basement Radio,' and currently on a weekly program for the prestigious 'Ibiza Global Radio.'
All in all, he's one of those DJs that feels exceptionally comfortable playing the dance floor, that surprises you with his musical selection and, even more importantly, that achieves the golden rule: Never stop dancing.
