DotRod originally hails from The Bronx borough of New York City. It was here where he began to develop his undying passion for creating music.  DotRod emerged from a self-taught drummer, to a full fledge music producer and DJ.  His musical production influences include: J. Dilla, Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley, James Brown, Timbaland, Just Blaze, Stevie Wonder and Dr. Dre (just to name a few). From his South Bronx home to Penn State University, Dot teamed with DJ Ca$hous to create their production duo, TheAmazNs and production company, BeatLine Entertainment. In 2011, DotRod signed a publishing deal with DJ Skee’s Build & Destroy Music and has taken his craft across the United States as a tour DJ for Duck Down Music Inc.
