I wrote this song, after having a dream about my Grandma. She was listening to music on my phone, sitting in a cafe, in the sun, with the same nostalgic look in her eyes that she gets when I play her old music that she used to listened to (like George Formby for example!). I really connect with the sadness and longing that I see in her in these moments, as I also think back to earlier in my life and think about how things used to be.

This is the first recording of a series of recordings I will do over the next two weeks, as I try to do a song a day.

On this song I was lucky enough to have Abby Marks sing backing vocals on the track, and hopefully you will hear more of her over the next few weeks.
