Following the acclaimed ‘Funfzig LP’ on Rekids in 2021 as well as his ‘Mutated Battle Breaks’ series on the techno focussed Rekids Special Projects, Mark Broom returns to Radio Slave’s imprint for his latest full length, ‘100% Juice’.

Title track ‘100% Juice’ leads the charge, barreling forward with phased hats and trippy bleeps, before ‘Slush’ carries the rest of the A side with dense synths and stereo trickery. ‘Rainbow’ bridge sees muted chords drifting in and out of focus alongside rattling drum programming before ‘Reverse’ mutates dub techno inspired elements with swathes of spacious FX and pitch-perfect processing. 

Opening the second disc is the aptly titled ‘Wonky Workout’, which sees hard-hitting kicks meeting freaked out leads, followed by the fast-paced ‘I Want’, which brings crunchy, shuffling percussion and effected vocal samples together to devastating effect. The final side of vinyl is the one-two punch of ‘Boxed In’ and ‘Wiggle Me This’, with the former bringing sharp keys, rumbling low end and glistening pads, while the latter closes out the LP with warped acid lines and crisp drums.

Releasing on labels such as Rekids, M-Plant, and Blueprint, the wildly prolific Broom has consistently been at the forefront of the techno scene for decades with his gritty, groove-based output while, away from the dancefloor, his The Fear Ratio project with James Ruskin continues to win critical acclaim.

Italy’s Francesco Argentieri mints his TRUE IDENTITY label with the ‘Self Control’ EP, landing September 2024.
Argentieri has been active since 2019, with a discography spanning labels like Dutch institution Planet Rhythm, Insolate’s Out Of Place and his 2021 ‘Natural Killer’ album on Diffuse Reality - now starting his own label as a home for his output.

First up on Fransesco Argentieri’s ‘Self Control’ EP is the title track, a raw techno tool with excellently built-out loops set to keep the dance floor in full flux. Next up, ‘Chili’ boasts an infectious groove shot through with soulful techno stabs before ‘Awareness’ rattles and shakes with ample layers of distortion. Argentieri’s ‘Self Control’ EP on TRUE IDENTITY is a versatile release that will find a home in the record bags of many, with closer ‘Model’ being yet another classy and gorgeous techno cut with plenty of nostalgia.

William Kiss lands on Rekids with the ‘The Beat’ EP this November, hot on the heels of a remix for Mathias Kaden’s ‘Circulate’ EP on the label in September.

The A-side starts with title track ‘The Beat’, bodied toms footing the rhythm while high-pitched percussion keeps an irresistible groove above. With an expertly sampled, playful vocal, Kiss’ ‘The Beat’ is another unmistakable club hit that will effortlessly find its way into the peak time. The B-side hosts ‘Midnight Club’, which features more organic drums mixed with a classic House vocal and zippy strobe-light-inducing synths, closing out William Kiss’ debut on Radio Slave’s flagship label in his signature drummy style.

Having won support from Laurent Garnier, HAAi, Call Super, Robert Hood, and more, William Kiss has been going from strength to strength. He previously appeared on Radio Slave’s labels via his ‘Clap For Me’ EP on Rekids sibling label RSPX, with further releases on labels like GUDU, Bush Records and Three Six Zero alongside the launch of his collaborative project, Not Without Friends, with Luke Alessi and Jordan Brando on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue.

Santos’ first release for Matt Edwards’ Rekids imprint, the four-track ‘We Were All Kids Once’ EP , is a continuation of the experienced producer’s output on his own Let Me Understand Records, which has seen a staggering amount of support from DJs since it’s launch in 2018.

‘We Were All Kids Once’ is one of those genuinely essential EPs that provides exceptionally consistent dancefloor ammunition across it’s breadth.

With the likes of Ryan Elliott, Honey Dijon, Ame, Raresh, Luke Slater, Enzo Siragusa, Ben Sims and more supporting his output over the past few years, Santos is in the form of his career. Tuscany-born Marco Faraone and Uruguay-guy Diego Infanzon are currently based on the sweating edge of contemporary Eurotechno. “My Own Reason” kicks off their Turbo debut with an Italo-trance dancehorse that poses the answer-hungry question, “Who Are We and Where Are We Go?” Post-leadoff track “Breaking the Rules” incites the crowd to overthrow its masters at the municipal level and beyond, over a vascular throb that evokes the word “sinew” like few other floor-fillers released this month. And “Level One” gets you in on the ground floor of the Qatar’s tallest nightclub, with what everyone will immediately recognize as frisk n’ tug NDA acid.

Just as any serious intellectual has spent the past decade contemplating the Trolley Problem and nothing else, any self-respecting FLAC collector has got to get in on this digital release, which includes the closer “Control Your Mind.” We are not telling you what to do here, but we will point out that this moving example of Cyber-Altruism is just another reason why “Go for It” is our middle name.

Francesco Argentieri, class '96, is a South Italy based DJ and producer.

Since he was a child, his parents noticed his natural attitude to the music's listening and appreciation, developing in the early years of adolescence his love for rock and metal music.
Since then, he started studying music, at first with classical guitar to then approach to the electric one.

Growing up, developing his own musical taste and getting experienced, even attending his first parties in the clubs, he matured an affinity with techno music, and so he started at first learning the roots of mixing, while still always searching for the most unheard music from all over the globe, making of him an ever-growing DJ, who thanks to his various musical influences, always manages to offer high impact DJ sets on the dancefloor.

2019 marks his debut as a producer, releasing on a VV.AA. for the infamous Dutch label Planet Rhythm, to then release in 2020 his first EP on Insolate's Out Of Place and in 2021 his first LP, "Natural Killer", on Diffuse Reality.
