It's sober and it's beautiful. Very pretty waltz which can indeed encourage calm in reverie.

I hadnt heard a good waltz for a long time. Then came this track with interesting, yet not surprising progression.

Restless and pensive, looking out from a balcony at an unlit street enveloped in complete silence, Sergio found himself drowning in the hollow night, and in an attempt to combat the loneliness, started composing. “I guess this melody is what I would tell the moon if I could talk to her.”

As is custom for Sergio’s pieces, The Moon Song has an instant sense of nostalgic tenderness — it is a song about sleepless nights, glasses of wine, and unread books next to an unmade bed. Written during that part of the night in which everyone else is sleeping, the piece is an intimate affair; a gentle and at times heavy left hand is contrasted by a trickling, tethering right, playing with altering intensity but immaculate emotion. There’s a tense determination lingering beneath every note, an unanswered question floating in the air, only to be left hanging, as the piece drifts into the comfort of the decision to simply give up for now, and try again tomorrow.

The Moon Song releases on the 14th of May, featuring artwork by French artist Inès Panizzi.

This is our third attempt with https://soundcloud.com/igor-iofe-1 . One of my favourite composers is Karaindrou these arpeggios in the right hand are a great inspiration by her techniques and advanced skill that she has to progress the basic theme to very emotional results! 
  As I have said and the last times about this project everything is getting composed with the idea that it will be combined with trumpet so the piano by itself even if it's an average result and is capable to capture in a decent way when you hear it. In a comparison of the duet, the result is not a complete view of the image that wants to describe. I wish you a beautiful weekend!

Schole will be releasing the original soundtrack album composed by Akira Kosemura for the film “True Mothers (Asa Ga Kuru)” directed by Naomi Kawase.
This film is based on a novel by award-winning writer Mizuki Tsujimura, starring Hiromi Nagasaku, Arata Iura, Aju Makita, and Miyoko Asada. This human mystery film was added to the list of 73rd annual Cannes Film Festival “CANNES 2020” Official Selections.
A world acclaimed film director Naomi Kawase, whom received several Cannes Film Festival awards, has completed a new film based on a human mystery novel by an award winning best seller Japanese writer Mizuki Tsujimura. A story is about relationship between a couple who couldn’t have their own child, and a fourteen years old girl who couldn’t raise her own child, connected with the special adoption relationship, creating a new family relationship with a beautiful bonds and evocative conflicts.
Blood relations or soul relations. This emotional human drama looks deeply in this issue that can be seen in a modern Japan society, and questions us what is a family. But still, it brings a light of hope in the end.
The album includes numerous impressive musical scores created from a year long film collaboration. After the completion of the film, this soundtrack was restructured by facing the worldview of this film again from the total sound production perspective, then this album was completed by adding a newly composed title track.
