I'm a kind being, who has an ear for the intellectual and experimental sides of tech house, deep house, minimal/ deep tech, and abnormal techno. I have been curating my tastes of different electronic music since the early 90's and am always on the look out the for the new wave of strange, unheard, and otherworldly music that strays away from whatever the trends of the current musical climate is. Magnitude Recordings was started by @francescopico in 2005. The label quickly gained international recognition in the tech house- and progressive house scenes, working with well respected artists such as Eelke Kleijn (as Backroom Boyz, a collab with Francesco Pico himself), Ferreck Dawn, Roell Sapphire, Harold Heath and Camiel Daamen to name a few, which gained a lot of DJ support. 

After a seven year hiatius the label returned in 2018 under de wings of the @manual-music record company. Freshly revamped and serving as a home for the sound Francesco Pico loves most; intelligent, groovy and rolling progressive house. Kamilo Sanclemente, Not Demure, Ewan Rill, K Loveski, Golan Zocher, Callecat, Jaap Ligthart, Paul Hazendonk and Ric Niels are a small cross-section of the artists that call Magnitude Recordings their home nowadays, making Magnitude a brand operating at the forefront of the modern day progressive house scene.

Being around since the early 90’s Francesco Pico’s name is often heard in the dance scene. He released and remixed numerous tracks for labels such as @global-underground-ltd, @Manual-Music, AudioTherapy (Dave Seaman), Urbantorque, Briquerouge (David Duriez), Odori (Swag/ Chris Duckenfield), Extrema Music, Outside The Box (Eelke Kleijn), Proton and last but not least his own label: @MagnitudeRecordings. His tracks are played by many like Sasha, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn, Anthony Pappa, Jimmy v M just to name a few. 
As a DJ he also managed to build a nice career; Being a Resident at Many Organizations like Earth Amsterdam, SOL Amsterdam, Rage Rotterdam and now Kadinsky Sessions Amsterdam, Playing all the big venues in his country but also some abroad and being a regular guest at many national and international Radio stations.

"Valera Obuhov, aka VAO, was born in 1981 and grew up in the south of Russia in the city of Krasnodar, near the Black Sea coast, where parties with the participation of various stars of the electronic scene began to take place back in the 90's. Such as the KaZantip held in the Republic of Crimea from 1992 to 2013. Also bringing foreign artists such as Anthony Pappa to the "Kakady Club" in 2007. Оn July 20th, 2012, a party with John Digweed and Denis A took place in the Krasnodar nightclub "Sugar". It was during these years that he fell in love with electronic music and completely immersed himself in it. 1996 was the peak of the growing popularity of electronic music in Russia and the appearance of numerous top clubs and events. His musical taste was formed thanks to such artists as Anthony Pappa, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many others. In 2017, he decided to start recording mixes for friends and various music communities, realizing that without music, our life is nothing but routine. To this day, he tries to please his friends with mixes in the style of progressive house and melodic techno, his favorite musical directions"
