RITUAL/POLITICAL aims to provide a space for reflection on the current global state of being, by holding a space/time for metaphysical coming together. RITUAL/POLITICAL interrogates the medium of Radio to be, once more, that laboratory for awareness and social change that has been in the past, by keeping on generating counter-hegemonic knowledge, exchange and new forms of thoughts and agency. RITUAL / POLITICAL is special Ritual for Radio and forms of collective listening.

SPELL SONG has been broadcasted at Datscha Radio - Berlin as part of the festival 'Listening to the Universe' on 11/08/2020.

SPELL SONG IS a confessional encounter happened under the light of the Full Moon on August 3,2020. Under that moon’s creative portal our intentions came together to amplify the signal into a collective one. Spell Song united voices, hearable and not, connected by the desires of transformation, resolution and healing through sound. It brought together text, voice and drones to expand a listening experience that goes beyond the meaning of the words, to unfold a metaphysical space made by presence, attention and coming together. Spell Song explores the interconnectedness between physical bodies, immaterial bodies and planetary bodies, re-imagining a poetic and politics of cosmological listening.

(Apo)calypso is part of the work 'Fake Ceremony', performance and video installation by Francis Sosta.
(Apo)calypso is a poetic attempt to return to an overexploited landscape a sense of dignity after the human passage. The experimental audio-visual work invites to explore synesthetic subjectivities, guarding into floating temporalities and abstract landscapes which rest outside the linear time.

Francis Sosta - (Apo)calypso

FAKE CEREMONY is a site-specific sound performance and video installation by Francis Sosta.

The performance is inspired by the work of the artist Valentina Desideri who initiated ‘Fake Therapy’ as autonomous practice of collective and political healing. Fake Ceremony is an aural journey that likes to reflect on the meaning of healing in times of crisis, when the apocalyptical scenario of a possible yet undesirable sixth mass extinction is getting sensitive.

DIE SINGENDED KNOCHEN, is the sound project by Francis Sosta and Roberta Busechian (spazio (T)Raum). 
Slipping into the cracks between live performance, sonic act and ritual,  Die singenden Knochen is a sound journey through organic textures, live processing and beat-less composition that suspends time. The artistic duo creates an acoustic and visual landscape that inspires bridges between the heard and the un-hearable, the seen and the un-seen.  Weaving and processing sound spontaneously from organic materials within a performance art context, the work turns field recordings inside-out. Playing with perception, proxemics of sound and objects installation, Die singenden Knochen is an alive work-in-process dedicated to the unknown realm, that would change its features at every act, yet remaining the same.
