This track is a haunting meditation over and through the myth of Kalypso, forestalling Angles and Elle-Kari’s massive double-LP 'The Death of Kalypso’, which is due to be released in April 2024. A ≈60 min version of "Kalypso Hypnos Drone" is released digitally and on a Bandcamp-exclusive CD-edition. Turn it on, get lost in the sonic labyrinths of these complex drones, and get prepared for the full sonic epos, which perhaps could be described in terms of a meeting between Pulp Fiction and Henry Purcell, or a meeting of Carla Bley and Beth Gibbons.
