In this beautiful, one hour and twelve minutes set, Ninze and Bonjour Ben sure sound like a symbiosis you didn’t know you needed. 

“Almost ten years. What started with an internet acquaintance, turned into musical appreciation and then friendship. Similar views and common dislikes. Own principles are held higher than potential success. Deep House matters more than charts. Better slow than fast. Never silence, even though others might not understand. Support, even in rough seas. Once loosing fun, other ideas are needed -  you wanna record something new?"

This week's Far Blue concept is crafted by the four friends of the UK-based collective and record label, Simpler Times. This one has been long in the making, and the final result is a truly special mix.

‘Reflections Of Things To Come’ is a carefully crafted hour long journey that showcases Simpler Times take on the Far Blue concept. It is inspired by the idea of reflecting on the past while dreaming of the future.

‘We wanted to do something special for this mix, so we decided to record a set made up of unreleased Simpler Times music. We’ve included some older unreleased stuff that has never seen the light of day before alongside some brand new music we produced especially for the mix. We wanted to combine the old with the new to mirror the concept of the mix.’

The next Far Blue concept is composed by Arutani, an artist that we have been admiring for a long time now. For this special mix, he has created 16 original tracks that blend ambient, deep house, minimal, electronica, downtempo and anything in between. The mix flows between smooth, atmospheric soundscapes and deeper rhythms, creating a unique music experience, that we are proud to share with you.

‘This mixtape is inspired by the reflection of what place do we hold in the universe, capturing the sense of self and purpose while feeling adrift, a state of curiosity as well as surrender. Being "lost in orbit" also suggests a peaceful surrender to the unknown, floating freely without the need of staying still, embracing the beauty of not having all the answers.’

mal verliert man was, mal findet man was.
aber wie verhaͤlt sich das eigentlich proportional gesehen...findet man im leben so viel wieder wie man verliert oder gibt es menschen die "finder" sind und andere eher der typ "verlierer"?!?
und kann man den materiellen verlustwert gegenber dem ideellen stellen?
ist das abhandenkommen eines porsche ferraris so schmerzhaft wie das des lieblingskuscheltieres oder gar des eherings?
und warum schmerzt es uͤberhaupt so sehr wenn man etwas verliert?!?
sollte man nicht lieber an all die schoͤne zeit mit jenem dings denken, die man mit ihm hatte, anstatt sich selbst in tiefster trauer zu verlieren?!
vielleicht wollen manche dingse auch auf reisen gehen, um etwas neues zu erleben...manchmal kommen sie wieder zurück und manchmal eben nicht.
kurz gesagt:
was du lieb hast, das laß gehn.
wenn es wieder kommt, ist es dein.
wenn es nicht wieder kommt, war es nie dein.
oder auch nicht.
und was passiert eigentlich wenn man sich selber verliert...?
