One day (about five years ago) the battery power to mp3 player had flat-lined on my last bus ride home from work. In my desperate need of music (to help drown-out typical ambient sounds of city buses) I resorted to quietly hum to myself a random tune. That random tune has now transformed into this song. The first variation of a track for Peter Lange's D&D campaign. The Iron Core is finally on the threshold of the enemy territory: the Shattered Lands. The landscape itself is more lush compared to the harsher and colder surrounding regions. This is a calm before the storm; an odd sense of peace while marching into the palms of the enemy.
