Umm, I don’t think everyone will ever agree on everything. Impossible. Interesting that there are such strong opinions being shared here yet spirituality didn’t make the list. That is the biggest dividing factor of them all. 

I'm a Canadian, born and raised in BC and have never heard a Canadian say 'aboot' like J.J. McCullough. This is the first I've even heard this pronunciation clearly....very strange.

Wow...I greatly disagree with what J.J. is saying. Canada is not anti American, that's ridiculous. We may think American's are a little obnoxious at times, but anti American?? NO. Important to remember that opinions vary depending on where in Canada they are ie/ Quebec etc. This young guy has a viewpoint that is only consistent with a very young person. This is not a broad viewpoint. Canada has many of the same issues as the US, we just tend to be more polite than Americans about everything. J.J. should not be speaking for Canadians, he's really pissing me off with his perspective of us.

Honorary Canadian Here - I know Alberta and western parts of Canada really get annoyed by Easter Canada due to their natural resources being taken advantage of by the east. That and just such a distinction in culture from the French Canadians. The US has parallels with states rights and even within states, see North and South California and where the wealth goes. I wonder if nationalism like what we have in North America is forming similar circumstances in other countries? His argument is clear I'm just distracted thinking about drunk Scott Moir at the Olympic women's Hockey game between the US and Canada. Canadian heritage moments are the best.
