Sitting on this drum track for about a year...
So I'd decided to put something to it last week. And like always, something way darker than I'd planned emerged. 
Originally, I was thinking ... "this one should have a nice light summer feel to it, ya know? Kind of like a Led Zepplin tune..." 
Then the heatwave cooked my thoughts on high heat last week and that turned to, "I wonder what the sun would sound like? ... Cue the bass guitar up way too loud and grindy.

Fun fact: I've not settled on if I like it in here, but the rolling weird guitar solo that drifts in is actually running in reverse. So not back to front, but each 4-count runs backward within itself ... which made for something I could never play in real life.

She's Gone But Not Forgotten...

Hello everyone! It's been a while. I'm happy to share with you my latest project, The Shimmering.  The Shimmering is an album that is dedicated and serves as a tribute to the old-school RPG Ahriman's Prophecy, developed by Aveyond Studios (formerly Amaranth Games) and released on March 7, 2004. It's a game I rather enjoyed back in my childhood  years and I always wanted to compose some music inspired by it. In this album I'm I am returning to my foundational pursuits in the composition of ambient music. It contains shorter dreamy tracks with more emphasis on atmospheric ambience. Enjoy~
