Disquiet Junto Project 0617: Haunt Scape
The Assignment: Halloween is coming up. Do your thing.

In the haunting shadows of a disquiet Halloween, I craved a genuine fright, so I summoned an 8-track version of Bitwig with a cruel code from the sinister pages of "ComputerMusic" magazine (August 2023). Since that blood-curdling Superbooth 23 affair, the eerie Cthulhu call of this DAW has haunted my dreams, yet the terrifying thought of the time needed for mastering IT always kept me at bay. Now, having dared to dance with this phantom... it's eerily … but okay. Alas, this 8-track version, drained by nocturnal vampires, has had many of its limbs horrifically amputated. Thus, even armed with my trusty modular hatchet, it's hard to gauge if braving this ghostly realm is worth it. Be that as it may, a few nocturnal samples, mummified synths, and a disemboweled Lyra8 impro might not raise the dead from the graves, but together they gave me some creeps. (A little bit.)
