Only A Fool

Good Intention is a song of self reflection.   It's a slow blues jam in D Major using Drop D Tuning.  The words & music developed in a spontaneous jam session late one evening when I could not fall asleep.  The words pretty much follow the ramblings in my head that night.  I've been fine tuning the production since then but really didn't want it to be too polished.  I hoped it would sound like something you may hear live one night at a blues club.   

Guitars used:   Rhythm guitar: Early 80's Ibanez AS-80 Artist Series.

Influenced by the brilliant work (Dark Sitar) of The Pharmaceutical Phaggot, some Sitar in this track. Main stringed is mandolin. TPP refused to transact a ludicrous deal I proposed some weeks ago, by which I offered TPP,  in part exchange for his Sitar, a banjo playing rodent (so far as he knew). Following the collapse of what would have been a transaction to remember, I therefore had to make my own Sitar.... from commonly available household items (mostly stuff found in a drawer marked 'pieces of string too small for use').
