'Black Hockey Players' was originally going to be featured on my follow up to 2010's 'Revelations' with Florida producer Numonics, but due to creative differences that project was never released. It was later changed to a 10 song EP under the title "BHP", but due to schedule conflicts the project was never completed/released. We've decided to release the song now because music is made to be heard, and BHP needs to be heard and shared with as many people as possible. It's by far my favorite collaborative track. Black Hockey Players is not a rap group or a collection of emcees, it's a concept, a motto to live by. "Black Hockey" represents doing something that is not expected. When you hear the word hockey the last thing one thinks of is "black people", which is why I call myself a "black hockey player", because my music is not made to conform to normal standards or meet generic expectations of what a hiphop artist should do or say. Anyone can be a "black hockey player", regardless of ethnicity. It's all about stepping outside of the box and doing something different. This is the real, authentic and official version based on my vision and brought to life with the help of Ras, Blu, Asia, Twiz, and BeatnickDee. Merry X-mas and Happy New Year to all.

Canadian born (and a Toronto resident), MoSS may be a new name to some in the music game, but his production credits are instantly recognizable and have resulted in over 2 million record sales worldwide. Ghostface Killah’s smash hit “Kilos”, Raekwon’s ”Have Mercy”, Obie Trice’s entire Special Reserve album and most recently a collaborative album with Eternia (At Last which was released on Fatbeats).

MoSS got his first taste of notoriety by working with Obie Trice (Shady Records) around 2000. Moss was producing records for Obie, including both his independent singles ”Well Known” and the 12” “Mr. Trice,” which created the buzz that eventually led to Obie’s major label deal. Since then, MoSS has produced for a long list of “who’s who” in the hip hop world, including: Joell Ortiz, Ghostface, Papoose, Peedi Crack, The Game, Slum Village, Boot Camp Clik, Red Cafe, Mr Easy, AZ, Bounty Killa, D-Block (Styles P and Sheek Louch), Termanology, Big Shug, M.O.P., Kool G. Rap, Ras Kass, Omilio Sparks, Proof of D12 and the list goes on.

A former member of DJ Premier’s production label, “Works of Mart”, as Premier’s first ever production signee, MoSS is not only an emcee’s producer, but a producer’s producer as well. Recognized by an elite group in his field, he is known by many as a true “record digger.” Having assisted on price guides, rare record books and various musical anthologies, MoSS eventually started his own reissue label, Strawberry Rain, which specializes in re-releasing rare psychedelic music from around the world, including countries like Indonesia, Iran, France; and even Zambia where he travelled to find records and artists. Strawberry Rain has gained recognition across the globe and has been singled-out by a veritable slew of major media publications.

While his production work for other artists has resulted in him being recognized by outlets such as Rolling Stone, Spin, People and more, today, MoSS officially unveils his debut album, Marching To The Sound Of My Own Drum, which will be released on 11-13-15 and features appearances from Joe Budden, DJ Premier, AZ, Joell Ortiz, Sean Price, Jon Connor, Skyzoo, Inspectah Deck, Ill Bill, Havoc, Onyx, Slum Village, Willie The Kid, Guilty Simpson, Termanology, Peedi Crakk, Slaine and others.

Frank B. offers a grimier look at his stomping grounds in his new video for “Brooklyn Vs. All” featuring fellow BK native and living rap legend Rock (of Heltah Skeltah/Boot Camp Clik).

The video is directed by Mike D Visuals and centers on shots that capture the grit and rawness of the Brooklynite’s verses. Sure, there’s footage of the famed Brooklyn Bridge and surrounding areas, but it’s all seen through a stark and almost noir-ish lens, all set to the backdrop of GIT Beats’ ominous production, who’s previously worked with the other half of the Heltah, Sean Price (RIP), as well Cormega, Prince Po, and the late Prodigy, among others. Both sonically and visually, “Brooklyn Vs. All” is a fitting portrayal of the New York City borough, particularly as it’s described by these two emcees.

Amidst their tough-talk related to their hometown, there’s plenty of sharp wordplay and intricate rhymes, too. Like in Frank’s verse when he spits “Keep a cannoli stuffed with the broccoli/ And then I light it up until I can’t speak properly/ I speak prophecy/ I dare ya try to speaker-box with me.”

The track itself stems from Frank’s forthcoming album, 'Let Me B Frank,' that’s set to also feature Nyck Caution (of Pro Era) and Sticky Fingaz (of Onyx), among others. And if his name looks familiar but you’re having trouble placing it, here’s a hint: he was a featured contender on Missy Elliott’s The Road to Stardom series on UPN. He even landed a deal with her imprint, Gold Mine Records. But now, Frank’s doing his thing with his own imprint, Nobel House, and ready to enter the New Year in a major way.

As part of the milestone celebration of their landmark debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), which was released on November 9th, 1993, Staten Island officially proclaimed that November 9th will henceforth be known as 'Wu-Tang Clan Day"!  The group capped of their 25th anniversary celebration with an unforgettable performance on Good Morning America. 

On 10-5-18, Ghostface Killah released a new project and fan favorite, The Lost Tapes, which was entirely produced by Big Ghost and featured guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, E-40, Big Daddy Kane and Sheek Louch and his Wu brethren Raekwon, Masta Killa & Cappadonna among others.  

Ghostface recently announced,Ghost Files, a new Double-Album Remix of The Lost Tapes, featuring 25-tracks in total, with one side remixed entirely by Bronze Nazareth and one side remixed entirely by Agallah.  

The Ghost Files Double Album Remix project also includes a new and unreleased track ("N.W.O.") which features Queensbridge legend Tragedy.
