Here we are again with another release this time a Trance monster from Frank Dueffel, who is no stranger to Redbox Records.

In the time Redbox Records has been having a holiday, Frank has been very busy gigin all over the world and signed to many big labels. 

German DJ & Producer Frank Dueffel got in touch with electronic sounds at a young age, these kind of sounds always got under his skin and it wasn't long until that passion inspired him to become a DJ and producer in year of 1999.
Since then he played several gigs alongside well known DJs like Paul van Dyk, Madwave, Heatbeat, Maarten de Jong, Dennis Sheperd and tyDi on events like Street Parade & Nature One. His DJ sets take you on a journey featuring a wide spectrum of electronic dance music, a unique mixture of trance, progressive, breaks and techno, always energetically driven and touching the underground sound.

In 2009 he released his first singles & remixes and since then he's been improving his productions skills and increasing his reputation as producer, having already signed his work to labels such as Vandit Records, FSOE, Outburst Records, Phoenix Records and High Contrast Recordings including collaborations with Marc van Linden, Binary Finary, Rafael Osmo and Madwave and remixes for artists like Binary Finary, Jordan Suckley and Madwave.

Over the years his productions appeared in several Compilations like Goodgreef Future Trance, Tunnel Trance Force and several Street Parade Compilations and also gained support from international artists like Paul Van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Mark Sherry, Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Jordan Suckley, Alex M.O.R.P.H. among many others.

In 2015 he started his own radioshow called 'Needful Things' on Afterhours FM where he presents his unique stlye, from trance to house and melodic techno and beyond.

Hello 2025! Phoenix Recording's first release of the new year comes from FRANK DUEFFEL, one of the longest standing label residents. His powerful melodic track KUKULKAN is an Uplifting Trance beauty and a perfect way to start the new year with.

The Cologne, Germany based DJ/producer needs no further introduction anymore (we think). With his amazing music he placed himself in the hearts of the Trance community and we hope he will do so for many years to come.

Kukulkan (lit. plumed or amazing Serpent), is the serpent deity of the Mayan and Aztec mythology. Prominent temples to Kukulkan are found at archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula. The depiction of the feathered Serpent is present in other cultures of Mesoamerica. Although heavily Mexicanised, Kukulkan has its origins among the Maya of the Classic Period.
