Roum is a rising DJ and producer who seamlessly blends the boundaries between Melodic Techno and Progressive House. His music combines driving rhythms, deep emotional resonance, and hypnotic melodies—establishing him as a key figure in the electronic music scene.

Starting his career in the clubs of his hometown, Aarau, Roum quickly made his way onto bigger stages. Since 2022, he has been a core part of a Lovemobile at the Street Parade in Zurich, performing multiple times in front of over a million people—an experience he will be part of again this year. His track Paragon also gained significant recognition when it was played by renowned DJ Dirty Doering.

Roum has since released several successful tracks on prestigious labels, amassing over one million streams. His close collaboration with Roda Studios in Cham allows him to continuously refine his sound and further develop his artistic vision.

Whether on festival stages, in clubs, or in the studio, Roum captivates audiences with his distinctive style, driving the Melodic Techno scene forward with passion and innovation.

From the early pulses of the '90s rave scene to the underground clubs—techno has always been more than just music for me. It’s energy, freedom, and a never-ending evolution, driven by the community of music lovers, producers, and DJs who share this journey.
After a few years in Hamburg and Stuttgart, I immersed myself even deeper into this vibrant network, drawing inspiration from the energy and connections within it. I shape sound to my own needs, crafting atmospheric layers, shining melodies, and powerful club floor grooves that resonate deeply.
I joined WE909 – Techno Continuum, collaborating with Rolf Maier Bode (RMB) and pushed my craft forward with Robert Babicz’s Mastermind and Marotopia alongside him and Marc Romboy. But I didn’t stop there.
I dove into mixing and mastering, honing every kick, every synth, every detail to create a sound that pulls us in and takes us on a journey.
Now it’s time to keep evolving, explore new horizons, and share the energy.  2025 – the beat goes on!

Biography 
Ara has been demonstrating his DJ skills under his 
nickname since 2015. From the very beginning of 
his journey, a certain quality and professionalism 
were important to him in his performances. 
He describes his style simply as what it is: 
psytrance. In detail, it is mainly beautiful melodies 
paired with psychedelic sounds that make up his 
driving sets. But it is above all his appearance on 
stage and his interaction with the audience that make his performances something special. 
In addition to DJing, Ara also produces his own tracks, currently on the Psychedelic Woods label 
from Munich. His tracks have already inspired thousands on Soundcloud and Spotify. 
Ara mainly uses Instagram to get in touch with his audience. He promotes every booking there 
before and after the event.

Dj Carlos Biography:

DJ Carlos was born in Cluj, Romania. He started his DJ career in 1994 and so far he has mixed at various events and important clubs from his country. In 2007 he was the special quest at both Living and Bonaparte Club from Sousse - Tunisia, and in 2016 he played his music in Club There (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA),and GOA Territory (Chisinau), Club Kurabu (Chisinau).

Over the years, he mixed alongside DJ’s with international reputation like ATB, Milk & Sugar, Anthony Pappa, Margaret Dygas, Oliver Mc Gregor, Max Graham, Funkagenda, Plastic Funk, Pauli Steinbach and Simon Baker. DJ Carlos was also the quest at some of the most important electronic music events from Romania such as Untold, Electric Castle, Snow Fest (France), Liberty Parade, Delahoya, Peninsula Festival, JEMF Festival, Ghioroc Summer Fest or Student Parade.

Since 2008, DJ Carlos is one of the radio hosts of the DEEP SOUNDS radio show. DEEP SOUNDS is broadcasted on Vibe Fm, number one dance music radio station and Impuls Radio, Cluj Napoca. His presence has been active at other radio shows broadcasted on Ibiza Global Radio, Green Apple at Proton Radio, Ultraviolet on Dance Radio, Greece, Dream Raido (Ireland), One Fm, Pro FM, Radio 21 (Next level), Kiss FM, Radio Impuls Brasov (Nightstream), Radio Pro-B (Phonovibration).

Every year DJ Carlos is being nominated by nights.ro at different sections such as "Best Romanian DJ”, "Best clubbing profile radio show in Romania”, "Best Romanian DJ set”. In all sections he occupies a leading spot.
