OCTOBER 15, 2021.  This was done as if I went back in time 30 years.  It's a really dirty low-fi attempt to get the feel of the original NRG track which actually was taken from the one off hit by the Korgi's from 1980.
This is something I been wanting to do for a while and to be a marker for the past 3 years, I'm here.  I'm good.  I'm doing what I always done.

It's been hard times for many people, personally I can go to Heaven & Hell in the same day.  I got issues, I got tissues.  The main thing here is this, my life is music, I do underground music for the love of the scene.

But since you already know this, don't ever forgive me for sh1t I never did and sh1t you did to me.  Cause I'm right here, staying in my lane, doing me.   It's a crazy world out there.  Be safe everyone.

21paths - Broken Code - Damage Control Records December 2021 Feature

To commemorate 30 years of a mix-tape series I called "Factory", the next generation 2,0 begins on 1-1-22.  January 1, 2022.  The Sound Of Brooklyn Techno began in early 1992.  It was Hardcore Techno by design.  It was the sound of Stormrave, and like this damn varient of covid, it mutated, got harder and harder and somehow 30 years later, it still exists in it's original form. It's Industrial Strength, Drop Bass, Plus 8 and Planet Core Productions.  It's Adam X, It's Sonic Groove, Lenny D, early Beltram/Program 2 - but it's Brooklyn Techno.  The heart of the matter.  And it sounds something like this,

So Perry K and I went to see the new Spider-Man movie "No Way Home"  and I have some Spider-Man history since the first record I ever owned was "Beyond The Grave" by Spider-Man when I was 6 years old.  Not to give away the plot, Dr. Strange has to reverse the spell and in turn Spider-Man's girlfriend forget's who he is.  And I'm like "Doc Strange in the Range like Whoa". READY OR NOT / FRANKIE BONES FREESTYLE HOUSE ANTHEM 2022     As the title suggests this version of "Ready Or Not" is a crafty 808 fueled anthem of the classic song.  Freestyle House was a short lived style of tracks first championed by Todd Terry in the late 80's,  Years pass, styles come back around.  This is one of them.

THE BELLS / PURPOSE MAKER / JEFF MILLS / AXIS - Jeff Mills flagship track from Kat Moda was one of the finest techno releases of the 1990's.  It's pretty much Holy Grail.  So first things first, I've been spending most of my free time making music.  Sometimes I get lucky.  In fact if this version didn't excell while I was creating it, I would have simply walked away and left it alone.  But it began to sound really good & punchy.  I started feeling like Jeff would really enjoy it.  

I mean "Let No Man Put Asunder" is one of the most sampled vocals of all time.  But the placement of the words in this one, I heard it in an old 2011 track by Butch, and knew it would accent The Bells well.  It's really subjective but I will leave it up to you.   Enjoy.

Here is my set from Sunshine State of Bass Presents: P.L.U.R. at Respectable Street Cafe February 13 2021 for my birthday celebration. 50 years of music in a 1 hour set that contains elements of Old School Breaks, New School Breaks, Electro, Electro Funk, Miami Bass, 808 Bass, Progressive Breaks, OG Bboy Breakbeats, & more....... This is a journey into BREAKS!!!

BobbyBuzZ History Of Breakbeats Set from PLUR 2021

"Call It Techno" was the blueprint track which was written on June 4, 1989.  It was at the forefront of European Rave Culture and became a well known track in the U.K. & Germany.  The documentary "We Call It Techno" explains it right from the beginning and from that came the second & third Love Parade themes being named "The Future Is Ours" off the XL/Citibeat LP by Musto & Bones.  And "My House Is Your House" from the Break Boys which was Frankie Bones aka on Fourth Floor Records in 1990.

Frankie became the American Pioneer of Rave Culture on both coasts in 1990, playing Techno as a movement.  The Peace, Love, Unity Movement which in 1993 became PLUR after a fight broke out at an event in The Bronx which had Richie Hawtin as it's headliner.

And the rest is history.  If words can paint the picture here, the first 5 Soundcloud links will describe a DJ who has a journey of a lifetime & still is active in 2024.  The music that comes from the heart & soul of the Brooklyn Underground.
