A year ago today was the first time I’d been 100% honest in my music. I didn’t hold anything back and opened up about my personal life. The theme of the album I released, Phase II: The Journey, was centered around my relationship at the time focusing on the ups and downs I battled with while fighting for love as I tried keeping it from escaping my grasp. I fought hard to hold on to it but in the end I lost that fight.

Written truthfully under a false lens, I would later come to find out someone I trusted was going behind my back causing a lot of the problems which aided in the downfall of that relationship. I found out who that person was, two months ago on this day, and it changed our dynamic and my view of them forever.

After realizing everything was all a lie, plus with my dad passing a month prior to finding out all of this, I slipped into a dark space. The artwork of this song sums up my feelings
