Closing out the year on the members mix series we are delighted to be joined by an all time legend, the one and only Jeremy Slyvester. 

A ubiquitous figure in the scene who’s influence can be felt across the breadth of UKG through his productions under Striktly Dubz, G.O.D, Club Asylum and countless other alias’s and groups. 

We are blessed to be featuring this vintage mix of pure bumpy 90s flavours from a true legend in the game.

Its very difficult for us to play a set without including at least one of his productions from his many different aliases. 

For his mix he's treated us to an hour of old school flavours in the bumping fashion that he's renowned for and that we love. 

The class dj and producer is still at the top of his game after over 25 years of running it!

Dan brings that old skool foundation House and Garage flavours, a perfect blend of that original sound from the underground scene.
The first mix on this set is by myself, here I mix the full FLATTRAX records from 1-4 on both side, then over to Dan's set. The 3rd instalment in the mix is back to me this time i mix the full Vibesey Record collection from 1 - 9 and back through again.

Garage Evolution Mix

Luke Harmony is a self professed Garage nut and beside from being an award winning DJ for Kiss 100, he’s been collecting, buying, selling and playing UK Garage for almost 25 years. His collection can rival even some of the biggest names in the scene and he’s forever on the search to find those hidden gems to play. 

UK Garage has always been at the core of his love and passion for music and he’s seen his way playing most genres at some point, in countless venues and radio studios, but always comes back to his roots of Garage. In recent years, Luke started an Instagram page  (@underground_ukgarage), concentrating on showcasing the best underground UKG has to offer, and create a place to call home outside of clubland, to network with like minded individuals and push the sound further. He’s now looking to get back on the airwaves regularly and possibly working on a new label getting out Dubplates to the masses. 

Luke Harmony has put down a monster 72 track mix for Pirate Cutz, playing what he considers to be the best new UK Garage tracks, mostly from the last 10 years. With some unreleased nuggets, 3 deck mixes and hot off the press vinyl to keep you going in this marathon, 2+ hours showdown.

Pirate Cutz selectives Mix series: Vol: 6 - LUKE HARMONY

To introduce myself, I'm DJ NJ and this is a little Intro about how my love for UKG took off. 

Back when I was growing up I would always hear great sets played by some amazing DJ's and MC's on the likes of Ice FM, Passion FM, Freak FM and a whole host of more especially the London based stations, this took me on my musical journey into collecting music. 

My main genre is UKG, I adore the classics THE Underground, the stuff you won't get on your average garage night or club night. UkG is so much more than just music it is a passion of mine and collecting vinyl is what I enjoy most. I also love Jungle/DnB, RnB along with more genres, and I'm a very versatile DJ. 

I've played on multiple mainstream underground stations along with club nights and residencies. 

Hope you enjoy my mix and keep it UKG.
