You're In My Lo-Fi System

Recording of my set at Giant Steps on September 2025.

Giant Steps in London is definitely a special place to play. People come with an open mind, because the setting is unique. A DIY setup in a bright space in an old bath house. Starting with beanbags to sit, chill and listen (which might have been my favorite part of the day). And a six-point custom sound system that surrounds the dancefloor. Not powerful, but delicate and beautiful. Different from playing on a club system and not easy at times, but it's about creating something alternative/unique. And I think Giant Steps definitely does that well.

I did end up playing more club music than last time. Afterwards, I wished I played some more other stuff that I brought, but that's how it goes sometimes. Still the set goes through different moods, it starts very calm and gentle and hopefully takes you along for a ride. Wonder if anyone will make it through the full 6 hours :)

(We first listened to some albums in full, which I've partially cut from the recording, but the rest is all there. The recording is somewhat distorted, but hopefully you still find it enjoyable to listen to)

Made a mixtape as a tribute to that time, and give a listen to some tunes from '94 - '95 that still resonate even nowadays. Hell, you can even burn the damn thing on a USB and play it while driving into the sunset, cowboy. Yeehaa

InnerEarPower is a DJing platform specializing in all things soulful. Throughout my life, I’ve always been passionate about the power of music/vibration, and how it influences us as a human race. The healing power of music has the ability to transmute and transform our energy on a cellular level, for better or for worse. This is why with InnerEarPower, I’ve come into the role of being a sound vibration curator, behind the scenes architect of the “vibe’ & essence of a moment a.k.a “DJ”. The term “DJ” holds much more weight and responsibility than people give it credit for nowadays. When Felix Butzek aka DJ Darko was born in 2005, he knew from an early age that music was exactly his thing.
At the age of 2 he already listened to all kinds of music and loved music no matter what Style of Music it is. He discovered DJing at the age of 12 and has been practicing every day since then. 
When he went to a music school for 2-3 years to improve his skills behind the turntables, he started recording sets and sharing them with the world on Youtube and Soundcloud. 
When he got FL Studio for Christmas, he also started producing and sharing it on Spotify and Apple Music. He gives his best every day 

After a few DJ Mixes and more Improvements on Producing own Music he built a little Fanbase on his old SoundCloud and post his first Edits/Remixes. The First Remix that went Viral was from Don Toliver‘s Backend. The song was on SoundCloud and on YouTube over 4 k Views, that meanwhile big DJ‘s example: Michael Bibi and The Martinez Brothers played it during there Sets and make the Remix Bigger and Bigger.

After The Next Viral DJ Mix on SoundCloud called: „Rich Flex“ which was claimed during a Copyright Strike on YouTube. It had over 200 k streams on SoundCloud. Today he worked with artist like: Sillage and DreamKiller and gives his best every day to make his Dream come True. A big Star in the Industry

Today his Sounds are from Lo-Fi House to UK Garage to Hip Hop Beats and many more. Inspired by Artist Like: COMPUTER DATA , DJ BORING ‚ Mall Grab

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.
