The new track comes hot off some major releases for Potatohead People, including a DJ Jazzy Jeff & Kaidi Tatham remix of the group’s De La Soul collaboration, and production credits on a song from Phife Dawg’s critically acclaimed posthumous album with Illa J, which has just seen a brand new remix featuring Redman.
 
Brooklyn’s trend-setting label Bastard Jazz is celebrating 20 years of operation with an ambitious 4xLP compilation featuring half catalogue hits, and half new material from the current roster. @lovebirds all-original tune Icarus layers jazzy vintage electric pianos over restrained but head-nodding percussion, with Galliano's soulful vocal soaring above it all. The ever-consistent @tallblackguyproductions delivers a 90's-esque boom-bapper of a mix plus bonus instrumental, with an added verse from 80's Babies for good measure. @moodsprod works the track into a slo-mo stomper on his mix, complete with stuttering synth bass and driving percussion. And rounding out the package is RNT's @jkriv, with a beachy stripped-down retro-boogie remix perfect for those warm-weather months coming.
