The Intruders were formed in 1964 by me and Bob "Bub" Evans, a guitarist and singer who lived in an even smaller town than I did. The original lineup was a four-piece consisting of myself on drums and vocals, Bub Evans on guitar and vocals, Terry Predmore (who could actually read music) on saxophone and Paul Crowder playing bass notes on a six-string guitar.
