Frank McWeeny | Exclusive Mix - Kitsuné Club Night Day & Night Summer Party | London

G Prajekt is an alias of House music pioneer Radu Sapunarescu, a Dj/Producer with firm roots in the golden era of Romania's DJ scene. 
Radu grew up listening to music since 1974 when he was 5 years old, discovering parent’s reel tapes recorder with jazz, blues, gospel from the 60’s-70’s like, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Diana Ross to name a few, and soon he began making his own record selections. He was drawn towards Soul music, Jazz, Funk, Disco, Gospel, R’n’B and later in the 80’s also to Breakdance, street music and early house. 
In 1990 he started as a DJ on the radio, night long sessions at Fun Radio, then in 1991 on Radio Nova and he started to have first mixes with “early House” like Frankie Knuckels, D-Train, RJS Arrivals, Colonel Abrams, Adeva; The first club residency came in 1992.
In 1995 he sold his car to make a small home studio with 2 turntables (Technics SL1210MK2s) and a Numark mixer and he started to exercise with different scratch techniques and other tricks specific DJ international competitions, then following a series of live events with PRO TV, all summer at the beach in Costinesti '96, and other events in '97 live on tour in the country...
Radu has been an integral part of the Romanian House music scene and has remained so for over 30 years. Whether it be as a DJ, Producer or as a Broadcaster on Fun Radio or Nova, he has surfed the waves of musical trends but always returned to his one true love: Funk, Boogie, Deep Soulful Disco infused House.

After some great achievements, supports and as a groundbreaking moment for our label, 'Unified' by Gustavo Fk, Camila Jun and Mr. V could not get any better as we got a very special remix by one of the most respected producers in the business as if 'Unified' was a trilogy with an epic ending. 
For the third part of this amazing journey that provided us incredible moments during this year and summer of 2022, we feel very honored to welcome nothing less than Opolopo, delivering a classic soulful funky remix with his famous signature on it. Groovy basslines, swing and harmonic melodies make the right vibe to capture the whole meaning this track deserves. 
The perfect message to keep us on the positive energy after such difficult times. 
After a team of artists and producers as Dj Spen, Micfreak, Qubiko, Deeplomatik, Mona Lee and of course not forgetting Mr. V himself, we are more than grateful to have on board also the Swedish legend Opolopo with such a quality tune.
