Global Dancefloor celebrates dance music scenes, sounds and stories from planet earth.

We're crossing continents with grooves from Peru to South Africa via Lebanon, France, Australia, China, Brazil, Egypt, the UK, US and more.

And we're looking back at 25 years of BBE with label boss Peter Adarkwah. Talking about his first parties in London in the 80s, through to the label's inception and the amazing stories and anecdotes of artists who got involved in the journey.

The power couple are some of the most important figures of the Lebanese and Middle-Eastern underground scene since they founded Factory People, a community of artists and music enthusiasts whose mission is to spread music & happiness through events and arts projects. Their flagship club The Grand Factory was destroyed during the Beirut blast last August and they aim to bring it back as soon as possible. Activist and Factory People family member Samer Makarem gives us an insight into what a night there sounds and feels like, and why those kind of spaces matter to the city and the country’s artistic community in these challenging times.

We’ve reached 100! It’s a big one…having started this almost 10 years ago. We’ve roped in London duo @JiveTalkDJs to bring us a hot mix, and we head to Shanghai to hear from Local Hero Cookie Zhang, boss of Eating Music collective. She’s picked four tunes from rising producers pushing the Chinese underground sound.
