Hey guys, its HVBRID! I’ve been going out to a lot of music festivals lately and getting tons of inspiration from all these amazing sets. One artist in particular that I’ve been paying close attention to is Virtual Riot. I listened to his album “Simulation” and instantly got ideas from some of his songs. I’m starting a new set series called “Dreams and Nightmares” to show a representation of what goes on in my head from time to time. This was by far the hardest set I’ve ever live-recorded, but it’s also my best and I hope you enjoy it.

"My goal with “Gangsta Gangsta” was to find an intersection point between Hip Hop and a style of electronic music that was a comprehensive representation of every element of the Dr. Fresch brand. I kept the track at 105BPM to preserve the integrity of Baby E’s verses (and the original of course), so my instrumental perspective became a crossbreed between slowed-down G-House and indie electro. I’m constantly finding inventive ways to inject hip hop into the realm of electronic music - I hope my fans buzz off this project as much as I have, so excited for this release!" - Dr. Fresch
