Since 2005, Gaiser has been at the heart of the minimal techno movement. His hugely atmospheric EPs and LPs have always explored the darker, more stripped back and abstract edges of the dancefloor and have often done so in conjunction with immersive and complimentary live visuals.  

Says Gaiser of his working methods: “I’ve always been a big fan of analog gear, both old and new. I’m also a big fan of new digital technologies that create sounds that have never been heard before. I prefer to have the best of both analog and digital worlds working together, to make the most creatively flexible production environment as possible.”  

As well as working as VOID, Gaiser is also a revered live performer who creates immersive on-the-fly soundscapes using Ableton MIDI controllers and Maschine, and regularly performs at some of the world’s best festivals and club nights, including Hawtin’s own ENTER. nights at Space Ibiza.  

A trained percussionist and sometime punk rock drummer, around the age of 15 Gaiser discovered the underground techno scene in Detroit and “was completely intrigued by the energy of the music” and so began collecting drum machines, synthesizers and FX units to build a studio in his teens. Before long he impressed techno innovator Richie Hawtin, was signed to Minus and soon began releasing on the seminal label. Playing in Europe so often meant the natural thing for him to do was to move to Berlin, and it is from there that his sound has flourished.  

An extensive tour is planned to support the album, featuring a brand new visual show, created by accomplished Turkish artist and director Ahmet Said Kaplan.

Gregor Tresher kicks off 2015 looking to break new soil with his first ever full release for John Digweed's Bedrock Records.   

Last year was as hectic as ever for the Gregor and he came into it on high from the success of his artist album Nightcolours and having closed out 2013 by releasing an astonishing Laurent Garnier remix of the title track, on his own imprint.   Time to relax a little maybe? Not a chance. January saw the remixed version of the album hit the stores and this was backed within a few weeks by 'Taurus', Gregor's enticing collaboration with Petar Dundov. The summer saw him remix the Chymera classic 'Shadowdancer' and he closed 2014 with the superb 'Midas / Disturber' double-header.   

Somewhat of a musical chameleon, Tresher is as at home creating deeper shades of house for the likes of Moon Harbour and Ovum as he is techno rhythms for Music Man, Cocoon and Drumcode.   With label boss Digweed a huge fan, Bedrock is yet another perfect fit for the German and he opens his account with the mighty, melodic and Kraken'esque 'Goliath' and the razor-sharp lightning bolt that is 'Stormblade'.

Victor Niglio has been championing in music all the way since the early days of his childhood. Fantasie Impromptu guru-turned-producer has still a lot to bring to a table. Supported by the A-list DJ pals and American audiences, Niglio is ready to step outside his comfort zone and shake the dance scene up.  His new 4 track EP Witchdoctor is an exact proof of that. Its innovative and dangerously infectious hardcore 'Jungle Terror' sound will make you blast through your headphones or on the dance floor being too busy having fun. Every complex detail of each track is very complete, which brings you to the animal world, literally. Each animal-inspired track is entirely connected to its title. "I wanted to make it seem like you're getting ripped apart by piranhas in the first drop of 'Piranha', or you were being attacked by birds in 'Macaw'," says Niglio.  The most catchy thing about the EP? It contains a mixture of various rhythms, yet doesn't get messy.

Victor Niglio - Locust (OUT NOW)

Frankyeffe will step up to the big leagues next month, as Riot Recordings drop his debut album, Trenta, on November 9th.

Promising to be an intimate affair, the 16-track effort features the vocals of fellow Italian, Phil, and will offer a range of "melody-driven techno and electronica" according to the press release.

"I wanted to add to my sound palette," says Frankyeffe. "Different genres and sounds that I hadn’t tackled before but that I’d been thinking about for some time. ‘Trenta’ felt like the right moment to set myself new challenges. These types of sound have always fascinated me, I have always loved melodies fused with electronics and it was great to be able to broaden my cultural and musical knowledge."

This is Alignment ´s first release on Etruria Beat , an Italian dj and producer based in Berlin. This EP, composed of two original tracks and two remix, starts with the main track Gravity, characterized by a 90's dry kick mixed with a heavy sub, here the synth riff is always present and go along with some background coming and going pads . Black Hole is based on a frisky and overwhelming bass riff that opens and closes for almost the entire song accompained by a pad that create dark atmospheres which will trap you down in a black hole. Avgusto remix sounds really industrial, characterized by massive reverbs and low background synths. Finally we have the remix of Reform, where the main synth doesn't change and the well structured track id defined by break/drop that will leave you on suspense.

Techno meets Tech House in Transcode and Fideles’ latest work, a split release that sees each act put forth three original tracks packed with dancefloor heat.

UK forerunner Transcode initiates the journey with Magnetic Empathy, an attractive slice of subtle weaved Techno tension. Complementing its subdued nuance is Flutter, which unravels an array of arpeggiated strings, building up a slow paced yet a highly strained chunk of Tech House goodness. The most aggressive piece of Transcode’s triptych, Supremacy summons a dark and cavernous ambiance. A white noise dotted intro launches into a highly strung and progressively riveting Techno burner.

On the flipside, Innervisions alum Fideles channel their multi-layer productive chops kicking off with L’Alba. The main focal element is an ascending cluster of whirl winding synths. Tyred exposes a restrained bassline that stays constant throughout the track. What inspires is the sparkling melody crafted out of varying layers of bells and chimes.

Soft percussion announces Wired Mind, while swarms of dainty synths make up the melody. The track's uplifting riff creates an introspective mood, a fitting finale for an EP filled with club weapons.

Throughout his more than a decade-long career, Niko Schwind’s own production filled sets have always aimed at transcending the audience from dancefloor reality into an otherworldly house and techno journey. His latest studio effort, La Musica Obscura playfully explores the boundaries of the two realms in four action packed tracks that spell pure energy.

Starting off with the title track, Fake Reality involves an ethereal ambiance made up of airy pads and lightning synths, while a fiendish vocal permeates every bar. Alternating strained build-ups with composed releases, each sequence dovetails fittingly into the next, painting a deep and dark techno incursion.
German trio Township Rebellion dive in on the remix, offering up a vibrant and melodic alternative of the original. Channeling on their own soundprint, the melody seems to have an added spring in its step, following a drilling yet highly danceable narrative. 
Frisk commences with a tension inducing, stretched build up advancing at a steady pace into a hazy number. Itchy hi-hats accent the climax, breaking down into an array of zig zaggy synths that linger on. The Beat bears a certain touch that helps all of the tracks cohere, making the release come together as a whole.
On La Musica Obscura, Niko enlists fellow producer UV for a gradually developing low key groove. Biting synths rev up into a spiralling loop that progresses along with the construction, while keeping feet and shoulders moving.

Lee Van Dowski, Ron Costa, and 2pole (with 2 remixes) delivered their interpretations of some of the main songs of Eric’s album. Mr. Sneo also included a more clubby version of his ‘Circus’ track.

FRANKYEFFE - BIOGRAPHY 
Traversing the winding passages of his own cavernous capabilities, prolific Italian DJ, producer and label owner Frankyeffe – real name Francesco Fava – is well on his way to reaching the peak of his towering potential. Since his career’s 2001 inception, he’s wandered some of the darkest corners of melodic techno, injecting innovation and amplitude and gradually cementing himself as a true master within his own class.
Initially rising to prominence behind the decks of Rome’s renowned Rashomon Club, for three consecutive seasons, the venue’s intimate interior provided a vast canvas for Frankyeffe to draw upon. Soon sparking the interests of a wider audience, he’s since reached international recognition playing at various Mutate events in Naples, the Audio Club in Geneva, Germany’s Audiogate festival in 2017 and a monster slot on the Pryda stage at 2018’s instalment of Tomorrowland in Belgium. Stretching his reach further to high profile gigs in the UK, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Columbia and China his music is fast becoming a global force to be reckoned with.  
Helping to inspire other artist’s talent and creativity, Frankyeffe’s fierce DIY ethos is embodied by his own Riot Recordings label where he’s simultaneously put out a number of his own releases including his name making 2015 debut album, Trenta along with a handful of other flourishing and deserved artists – Teenage Mutants, Maksim Dark, Heerhorst and Spartaque to name a few. He’s worked alongside the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano – winner of ‘Best Producer’ at the 2019 DJ Awards – as well as been featured on established imprints that span Noir, Kraftek, We Are The Brave, Senso Sounds and Terminal M. 
With an exciting schedule already underway, Frankyeffe has a busy year ahead with a string of tour dates and releases on Senso Sounds and his own Riot Recordings ready to drop in early 2020. Well set on the highroad to stardom, 2020 will be a crucial year for this buzzing techno talent.
