Rave System fête sa rentrée ! Pour cette nouvelle saison, l'émission revient remontée à bloc après sa pause Estivale. Toujours à la recherche des ravers d'ici et d'ailleurs qui gravitent autour de la galaxie Rave, c'est  au coeur d'un nouveau voyage que nous vous invitons à embarquer. Co-fondateur du collectif Mär, - précédemment invité dans l'émission lors de la 2ème saison -, Discostouf apparaît comme un des atomes faisant vivre cet écosystème de la Rave.  A travers des influences techno, trance et trance progressive, c'est une performance enivrante mais non moins rythmée  qu'il nous propose pour découvrir son univers. J. Mono twists Dalamata Daniel's crew sense of time again, coming up with the third installment of his ‘Redate’ series: an elegant selection of uncut tracks, roaming in the fields of electro, acid, IDM and EBM. Redate III in its digital format presents tracks that were written and recorded between 2014 and 2015. As the cassette version, it includes not only Redate III (as side A), but a collection of J. Mono’s various other tracks created between 2017 and 2021, that appeared beforehand on various compilation albums (as side B). In other words, with this fresh new tape you’re all set with 8 years of J. Mono experience.
Redate III has a collection of 12 tracks that were all born in the mid 2010s. They are quick and ambitious tracks with usually a fast pace, ready to action and not afraid of melodic or rhythmic complexities. These raw edits usually tell us a discourse of a few key musical elements, constantly intertwined with each other: winding basslines and beats, wandering pads and leads. Never longer than 3 or 4 minutes, they focus on precise and rapid variations of sonic ideas that are full of heart, akin to compositions we know as bagatelles, sonatinas or études from previous centuries.
The twelve tracks are spot on understandings of what intuitive, energetic yet sensitive electronics can mean in the 21st century. Sweet melodies, acidic vibes and dreamy echoes dominate the record while dirty, muddy and distorted sound waves are also eager to take over the course.
Redate III offers a range of impressions and moods, where each track captures one very specific emotional moment. Melancholic and passionate tunes, frantic rhythms and delicate harmonies at work: electrified gnossiennes, beat-driven gymnopédies in 40 minutes.
