From the juddering throb of the opening kicks to the ricocheting rhythms, the track fixes itself directly under the mirrorball from the outset. Produced by Jason Core, this is late night lover affair material that is brimming with energy. When the firework melody bursts, it ignites. Sharp and warm synth stabs are left smouldering by the driving and impassioned voice of Sandry Sanz. A tale of unrequited love unfolds between the cymbal crashes and spiralling synthines, lines that grow ever bolder through Tony David’s emotive guitar solo. The flip is dedicated to Core’s instrumentation with the range of analogue sounds and synthesizer intensity coming to the fore. Intricate patterns and counter melodies are woven, key shifts and pulsating percussion imbibe this dub mix with all the spirit of the original. Fierce and fiery from beginning to end.'

Glitterin - Try No More

Balearic sounds and Mediterraneanwarmth are the inspirations for Bruno Belissimo’s Bordello A Parigi debut. Drawing on disco, house and funk, Ottimo! is a four tracker of electronic exuberance with Belissimo’s musical ability and range immediately spilling from the speakers. Guitar strings curve around synthlines in the title piece, percussive textures giving way to the mantra-like refrain of “Ottimo!” Thick bass echoes into beaming keys for “Meduse.” Bright notes cascade, grooves  melting with vocoder lyrics as classic disco tones are reimagined in this modern mirrorball medley. Organic rhythms introduce the flip. “Mirage” opens to ripples of bongos and toms as a loose structure takes hold. Hedonistic chants rise to a shimmering chord, kicks and snares funnelling the building energy as bold blasts and samples shriek with delight. “Las Piramides de Ibiza” brings the quartet to a close. Clean drum patterns support joyous notes, a machine dipped voice calling time.

Bruno Belissimo - Ottimo!


With his track “Time Is Not Real,” Dutch producer Doctr resurrects the break fever of the 1980s. Driven by syncopated beats and an irresistible slapped bassline, the track clearly draws inspiration from “Street Dance,” while injecting a modern dynamic and a vocal by Belle Doron. 

Percussive breaks, subtle vocoders, and an uptempo groove give the piece an energy crafted for the dancefloor. A retro-futuristic gem that belongs on every nu-funk and electro-boogie playlist.
With "Echoes," Doctr delivers a delicate Italo disco ballad. The catchy, melodic, and luminous leads rise like memories that refuse to fade away. In the background, airy pads weave a sensitive, almost cinematic atmosphere. The refined and nuanced production plays on contrasts between danceable pulse and introspection. A track that touches both the heart and the body, standing at the crossroads of the club and pure emotion.

To close the release, “The Calling” is an irresistible groove set to ignite dancefloors. At the heart of the track, a powerful and hypnotic 30-second percussive break grabs attention before giving way to a perfectly crafted Italo disco melody. This contrast between raw rhythmic energy and melodic finesse makes the track an essential club anthem, embodying the perfect fusion of power and sonic elegance.

In anticipation of our upcoming EP 'Danza Nel Vulcano' on @radiotornadorecords, we’re dropping two free downloads. The first one is a loose interpretation of Demon God by The Intergalactic Orchestra — a magical space horror disco record from 1979 and part of the album Supernova. We tried to give our own twist to the track, adding elements like vocoders, brass stabs and Italo-ish basslines to spice it up. Big thanks to @sierk for inspiring us to create this and Dynamic D for being the first to give the track airtime on his amazing operator radio show.
