Berlin-based, Franco-German producer and DJ Franz Matthews, alongside well-known happiness coach Jonathan Lehmann, have crafted a thumping, hypnotic EP that combines music and the practice of guided meditation as one.

We’ve collated remixes from a spread of some of the greatest minds in electronic music today, including Aera, The Organism and Milio, to create their unique interpretations of this pioneering project of mind and music.

Franz Matthews’s original brings a complex web of interlocking percussion rhythms that develop with unfolding synths throughout the guided meditation to reach a soul-shaking climax. Transporting us on a journey through the mind with a captivating piece of musical storytelling throughout.

Aera steps up with the first remix, carving out a spacious story that casts the spotlight onto the spoken word vocals from Lehman, combining elegant rhythms with contrasting layers of subtle harmonic movement and mind-altering synth melodies that engage the inner recesses of the brain.

The Organism takes things into a more aggressive, percussive direction, using his archetypal sound to traverse across the planes of your mind. Off-kilter synth tones collide across a punchy Moog style bassline and grooving disco-tinged drum machine grooves underneath.

Finally, Milio brings his distinctive club sounds to the blend. Mixing glitching rhythms with wandering melody lines that integrate elements of minimalism and techno into a joyous and playful reworking. Milio’s distinct ability to craft memorable lines that are equally unique and quirky closes this superb remix package off with finesse.

Ukrainian artist The Organism is the entire example of what is said: multigenred, always unpredictable producer with the signature style embracing the best of hypnotic bass vibrations, the exciting vocals and the mystic ethnic sounds. Last year The Organism gained massive support thanking to his 'Reflection' track which was played by Solomun, Ame, Dixon which is pretty enough to say at this point, not saying about a line of dancefloors worldwide. Main title track has already impressed the thousands of people dancing to Diynamic's boss Solomun at his Cercle set at Théâtre Antique: dotty and accurate bass of the track comes out as a great platform of the whole track's mellow structure which is the perfect combination of the groovy and tense house beat with the melodic leitmotif. Non less than the electronic prodigy - that's how we can briefly describe Tim Engelhardt who is remixing 'Gypsy'. German producer who has so far released his music at such world renowned imprints as Steve Bug's Pokerflat, fryhide curated by HOSH, John Digweed's Bedrock which are the main but far not all on Tim's achievements list. Tim's remix is a steady filler of electric filtered bass which comes as a bone of this brilliant version. Progressive nature of 'Dioxide' with a dramatic melodies leads us to Eastern flavored 'Root'. Firmly built brand style of The Organism can be heard here in this release, whilst we work, keep and can't wait to share more music with you this year. With no boundaries, as a motto.

Mexican artist Mateo Gonzalez alias Bufi alias Theus Mago kicks off his 2020 vision with a three tracker, 'BAQA', on PETS Recordings and musically continues to deliver dance floor oriented music in the style of his 'Osla' EP, which included the omnipresent and well-received track 'Stadium Flutes'. 'Rave Dave', the B2 or EP's closing track is no exception regarding the aforementioned and is an instant classic. 'Classic' because the sound selection as well as the arrangement take you back to the early nineties of the last decade, to the die-hard rave days, to 'rave Dave', the stereotype of a raver, dancing all weekend but still being fresh on a Monday. 'Rave Dave' stands out due it's lush bass line or a 'thundering drum' combined with echoing ligneous sounding chords still giving the take an industrial vibe thatis emphasized by a mental melodic part in the middle part before the trippy intially introduced chords and a vocal guide the listener through the end of the track and right into a newly approaching musical thunderstorm.
