After sprouting with a trip to the Amazon on the Full Flower Moon, the Future Sound Of Nature spreads more branches with, Soul Clap’s EcoSystems Mixtape on the Summer Solstice. The veteran DJs have a long history of conceptual mixes (DJ Kicks, fabric, RA, watergate) and have spent over a decade supporting climate action in the music industry. The extended mix brings nature in as a musical collaborator by collaging field recordings, sound habitats and nature songs (content, title or lyrics). Spread over four musical habitats, each intertwined by field recordings and original ambient interludes, EcoSystemS is a unique take on nature music–weaving together a diverse range of electronic genres, for the body, mind and spirit–to align the nervous system as only nature can.

Fueled by the fire of the sun, the first habitat brings house music energy into the Ecosystem, fueling photosynthesis and building up plant tissue. Then, as a quiet storm descends, the second habitat (23:10) is bathed in the depth of the water cycle. This habitat is home to animals like birds and insects that play an important role in the movement of matter and energy through the system, feeding on plants and on one another. Breaking down dead organic matter, the third habitat (41:16) decomposes into a mystical musical moment of rebirth. While the final habitat  (1:13:41) journeys through the jungle to complete the cycle, releasing carbon back to the atmosphere and facilitating nutrient cycling by converting nutrients stored in dead biomass back to a form that can be readily used by plants and microbes.

Yuu Udagawa, who studied art and philosophy in high school, has since performed at clubs, festivals and fashion shows and is now a regular in the lounges of five-star hotels like the Park Hyatt Tokyo, showcasing her versatility as a DJ. Drawing on her insights and extensive experience in creating musical atmospheres invarious spaces, she continues expanding her musical creation journey.

In 2010, she composed "Blossom," the main menu BGM for Sony PlayStation 3 (Torne and Vita),captivating gamers. After that, she released several tracks for various projects. In 2021, her music caught the eye of German artist Manuel Tur, leading to her music being released through prestigious labels such as Compost Records in Munich, Germany, Cyphon Recordings in London, founded by Jimpster and Tom Roberts, to the up-and-coming Cosmocities Records in Dijon, France, and the popularRazor-N-Tape in Brooklyn, USA. These collaborations have boosted her international visibility. She was invited by Freerange Records in London to deliver a DJ MIX on Apple Music to celebrate International Women's Day 2024.

London-based digger supremo Daisybelle steps up for the GuduMix series, starting off with some music by her and charting a path through Mim Suleiman, Strath and Gudu's own Brain de Palma.

In Daisybelle's words: "“My inspiration for this mix was to literally showcase all of the different styles and sounds that have influenced me as a DJ and producer. On the dance floor I love eclectic and unexpected sets so I hope I’ve captured that here. There’s a strong love for emotive synth driven melodies, from new wave to Italo sounds, blended with underground current and 90s house music."

AKAJackie is building a stellar reputation on the Manchester scene having played for some of the city's finest parties including Homoelectric, Homobloc Presents, Supernature Disco, Club Solo, Sticky Heat, Your Disco Needs You and DeRanged Nights amongst others. He has brought the vibes to some top venues including Hidden, The Refuge, Joshua Brook’s, Ramona, Carlton Club and has also played further afield at 110 above festival, Not a Cult festival, 24 Kitchen St in Liverpool and Sheaf St in Leeds. In 2025 he was selected to be a resident DJ at Lost Village festival. 

He stands out with his blend of a multitude of genres. Expect thick bass lines, piano slammers, soulful vocals, left-field disco, electro, italo, classic disco and house and the edgier sounds of minimal and deep tech. He has contributed to radio shows on Komrad and also Reform Radio, with a special guest mix for Manchester disco royalty Supernature. He hosts his own series “Beyond Planet Funk” on Data Transmission Radio.
