The second quarter of 2021 brings Musica Cavernicola's eighth release, an EP titled "How Can I" signed by the young Spanish producer I AM JAS. With this release,, the brand created by SOSANDLOW continues to support music that represents our most primitive self. The EP opens with the homonymous track "How Can I". With it, I AM JAS gives us a warm rhythmic base with a lot of organic texture, and above all, a lot of movement. On the harmonic side, a hopeful vibe stands out, which is accompanied by the producers own voice. We continue with Yamils remix of "How Can I". The producer has chosen to lower the tempo, ensuring that the elements of the original progress gracefully. A special mention should be made about the prominence of the bass line added by the talented producer, also of Spanish origin. The second original track, "Lost In My Own Words", takes over. And it does so with a more indie and darker groove in which the organic sounds are maintained with acoustic guitars and drums. This time we enter an oriental atmosphere that takes us to a desert. There we get lost and are only accompanied by the suggestive voice of I AM JAS. And we end with Argia's clean and elegant remix of "Lost In My Own Words". Her proposal consists of the introduction of drums in constant conversation, which create an atmosphere and a structure in perfect symbiosis. In addition, she adds an acid synth with a main melody that appears and disappears alternating with the vocals.

Deep, cross-genre dance floor tracks with that timeless analogue feel, Irene manages to translate the exciting sound she's known for as a DJ into her own productions.

Edu Yattah surprises with his Muse Mix of the title track. A downtempo organic tribal piece of work. This one travels beyond music, this is religious and puts you in a deeper state.

And to end the release in style melodic heavyweight Nhar delights us with his rendition of Umdam. A rework that will for sure find its way into many of the deep/melodic/progressive house DJ's sets.

Irene Radice - Foehn

New name to the scene Esteban Ikasovic enters the Manual Music family with a release on their infamous MNL label.

The Argentinian artist kicks things off with the very infectious 'Natural Balance', a track that will get your feet moving right from the very beginning and won't stop until it's all played out.

Nantais & Hazendonk join forces once again, this time on remix duties to take the title track in a more tribal direction. No mercy here as the relentless drums give it a bit of an oldschool feel whilst the bassline and vocal snippets bring it into the roaring 20's.

'Holly' is the deepest cut of this release and brings a nice balance after the two more peak time versions of 'Natural Balance'. This is a tune for the dreamers, and a perfect way to end Esteban Ikasovic' MNL debut.

"Between The Rays" is the new release from Metrica. Samer Soltan has created two masterpieces where the feeling and the depth of the tracks make you travel to otherworldly sensations. Exciting melodies in a progressive and light-filled story.

The first track that gives name to the release combines organic percussion, sentimental pads and a main synth that plays with your mind and defines Samers great imagination in its elaboration.

Two versions by Alex Medina, one of them experiments with feeling and creates a very personal ambient track, the other version is intended for a club sound where his personal style combines perfectly with the storyline of the track. Enai creates an elegant and sophisticated version with new elements and tremendously compatible with the initial idea.

"Reverso" is the original track that closes this release, different scenes in a short time argue its great elaboration and originality. Enjoy this beautiful story.

After having recently delighted us with the fierce progressive breaks roller 'The Sunrise Washed Your Eyes' on Manual Deep, he now makes his return to MNL with three timeless underground club cuts.

Averse to current trends and a lot of the conceptual music out there right now, Hacobb brings back the true feeling of underground house and techno music here. Three "eyes closed and loose yourself in the moment" kinda cuts made by someone who cares- for people who care. Pure bliss!

A few months after making his label debut with his 'Links' release, Mark Mywords is back on Magnitude Recordings with two fresh cuts, one of them remixed by label boss Francesco Pico.

We kick things off with the title track 'Wait A Minute', an intelligent and exciting tension builder. 'Peace Love' is quite a bit deeper and heady with its rich and stands out with its intelligent percussion arrangement, where Francesco Pico turns it into an uplifting melodic progressive house dance floor pleaser.

Manual Music's MNL label has been operating on the forefront of the progressive house scene ever since its inception in 2012. Now it's time to push the boundaries even further with 'Stop The Silence' by Aluria and Aman Anand - the labels' whopping 207th release!

Aluria and Aman Anand bring a proper underground warehouse vibe here. Deep chunky late night grooves, an infectious male vocal in combination with warm melodies make this an essential piece of forward thinking house music. And if you're not a fan of vocals then no problem; a dub mix is included as well.

To complete the single Australian progressive house maestro GMJ joins in on remix duties. It's his second appearance within the Manual Music family after last years immensely successful remix for Golan Zocher's 'Enter' single on Magnitude Recordings. He provides an interpretation that sounds less dark compared to the original, very funky and driving - a classic essential progressive house groover!
